False monks in Tibet

by Cuicui » 12/04/08, 15:59

Here is what I just received by email (subject to reservation):

This is how "democratic" China does disinformation.
This satellite photo taken on March 20 by the British Communication Agency shows Chinese soldiers preparing to put on robes of bonzes. Tibetan monks in Lhasa said they were locked up and had nothing to do with the protests, and some countries have known this since March 20, thanks to this photo taken under irrefutable control conditions (see below).
Transfer this photo as soon as possible to all your internet contacts and we hope it will cross all borders and be seen worldwide.

Satellite photo? weird because given the angle from which we see the faces does not correspond to a satellite shot (seen from ABOVE normally and not like here :!: ).

It is to be hoped that this photo is not a montage because there the Chinese will give themselves up in chorus joy by saying that it is manipulation.

I'm not saying that this photo is a fake.

Another forumeur already posted it here this week in another topic.

If it is true, it is incredible and there we see the state of mind of the Chinese: impossible to trust them in anything.

cuicui you may have missed this topic?

Hello Martian 007
I did not see https://www.econologie.com/forums/quizz-chinois-t5162.html
otherwise I would not have intervened.
However, I followed

The Chinese government is doing whatever it takes to make us sick. He will reap what he sows.

Hello cuicui, if you have 20 minutes per report, look at the 2: anger in China and the hell of coal; you can't imagine what's going on in this country.

It is indeed a tactic, although on the internet anything is possible. these soldiers really look like student officers (young people, distinguished looks, impeccable jacket, a batten on the sleeve)

according to the latest news, it would be a hoax, I refer you to the post "Chinese quiz" and this link:

definitely the info, it's a hassle, like do you want to not look like an idiot, after that ??? : Evil:

Exact elephant; what put me in the ear is the angle of view which cannot be a satellite view.

However, I found a forum who discusses it, and I extract the opinion of a speaker, nicknamed Pure Blonde (well yes, not all blondes are stupid, the proof):

"Mmh. Not possible that this is a satellite photo given the angle of view and the magnification. Only in the B series where we see satellite photos with such a zoom. This photo was taken from the first floor of a house, rather.

That said, it's still strange. But it is difficult to make a distinction. There are certainly monks who were exasperated at the outset, then a possible manipulation to pretend that there are thousands of them who are violent.

And then why would the soldiers exhibit these dresses in the street, in front of passers-by? One might think that manipulation requires a minimum of discretion, right?

How can we be sure?

Later in the commentary, there are other inconsistencies. This photo dates from 2003 when the Chinese soldiers were used to film Tibetan bonzes in a film !!!

With a military satellite you can very well take pictures like that with a clear atmosphere ...
