New RSS feeds so you don't miss anything from the site!

by Christophe » 15/02/08, 10:58

It's hard to find new info on the site isn't it?

So I decided to remedy the problem by creating RSS feeds.

So I just set up 2 new RSS feeds (in addition to that of news) to not miss any news and additions to the site.

These 3 streams each contain the 30 latest news of the site:

a) RSS feed for the last 30 downloads : https://www.econologie.com/downloads.xml

b) RSS feed for the last 30 articles published : https://www.econologie.com/articles.xml

c) And finally the RSS feed of the last 30 news has also been updated: https://www.econologie.com/news.xml

I can add a small picture to the flow if it interests the world?

If some used to forums using RSS could test in their aggregators and tell me if there are any problems it would be really nice. Thank you.

Yes thank you :) Netvibes I also tested.

Good as I made sure that these 3 feeds comply with Feed Validator I don't think there are any major problems ...

The title is a bit long:
Econologie.com, the last 30 new environment, energies, economy, ecology, CO2 news.

on my igoogle it fits on 2 lines
"Econology: the latest news" would be sufficient for me

I have included the latest additions on all the articles, they are accessible via the icon: Image added at the top of all articles and pointing to the "bottom" of the article.

Examples: https://www.econologie.com/abonnement-pa ... nouveautes

I also added 2 icons to "print" the articles.
And one that points directly to the Articles RSS.

Here are the Fluxes have been included in forum.

So you should have noticed the 2 new icons:

Image et Image top right of forum.

The first point on the page of the 1 RSS feeds named above.
The 2nd on the news of the site (news, articles, downloads) included directly on all pages of the forum (below).

I will probably change the look of the "new" table a bit to make it more readable.
