Toyota Mirai: surfing overboard on Back to the Future

by Christophe » 21/10/15, 20:56

It's October 21, 2015, arrived from Marty MacFly in the future, it's the buzz of the day ...

Toyota took the opportunity to launch its Mirai with a nice spot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFyY7_hc-14

While we are at it, here is a nice comparison (what exists and what does not exist) on the technological anticipations of the film: http://www.iflscience.com/editors-blog/ ... world-2015

8/10 anyway! Hats off to Zemeckis !!

I always enjoy watching this trilogy as much !! (despite the number of significant temporal bugs ...)

Trying too hard to get into the mold, it ends up looking like a pie.

A flat all the same: the Mr Fusion, synonymous with an energy revolution, is not mentioned in the comparison ...

After nothing says that Doc did not go much further in the future to install it!

Perhaps at the instigation of the Japanese with their Mirai (Toyota) or Clarity and Concept (Honda) with their hydrogen fuel cells, this will help to eventually solve the problem of world hunger?

Through mass production of hydrogen from corn stover, (the ear being used for food needs)
http://www.connaissancedesenergies.org/ ... lle-150428

So when we fill up at the pump we would finance a food chain at the same time! And we would reduce Co2 (since the corn on the grid is not bad when growing ...). I may idealize a little, but there is that in this project.

(Maybe a dedicated thread Christophe '?)

You forgot the Obamot irony smileys!

The agrofuel and biofuel debate has already been done ... but we can relaunch it to update it.

Another video: https://www.facebook.com/frederic.habil ... 622563279/

I did not think that Back to the Future would make as much noise at the moment!

The future of biofuels is algae ... oleaginous or hydrogen producing such as "Chlamydomonas": https://www.econologie.com/forums/biogaz-hyd ... t9126.html
