[Abuse] Limit the duration to edit his messages

by Christophe » 06/04/12, 17:09

Following some abuse in the editing of messages (deletion of messages after X weeks or even months, modification of message during a debate to show "that we were right when we were wrong" ... etc etc) ... a modification has been made to no longer be able to edit your own messages after X hours.

X is a priori integer but I put 0.5 to see, which seems to me wiser ... If it does not work (advice to fans, me as a modo I can not test :D :D) I would put 1h ...

Normally the effect is retroactive on the old messages already posted ... someone wants to test sivouplé?

I think it's a good idea. I made you the proposal by MP.

Hope this will be enough to avoid the gueguerre ego (or teens) of some members.
Alas I doubt it ...

On my old messages there is no longer the "edit" button. But these messages are several days old.
So a priori it works.

Well, so there is more to wait until 17: 46 compared to your 1er message on this topic to see if the decimal is taken into account ... or if it rounded to 1h ...

First of all, if you want your decisions to be respected, it would be better to start by firing someone who has been banned for just reasons.

Otherwise you'll end up with one of these shit ... I do not explain the call of air to this type of character that you will do: it's just started, I only tell you that ... : Mrgreen: : Cheesy:
