Re: The lazy garden made in northern Elsass
Hello, I haven't had much time to spend the last few months. So here I am back with a question that torments me: it will soon be the period of sowing tomatoes. I have always made my seeds myself but last year there was a miss so no seeds were collected: cry: ...

Re: The lazy garden made in northern Elsass
One of the solutions might be to dismiss well before (I do not know how long) hay to try to thwart the problems you are talking about.

Re: The lazy garden made in northern Elsass
I wish it was a problem of seed (I change the mark and presto it is settled), but I think you're right.
has anyone ever tried to sow live on the ground and cover very slightly with hay?

Re: The lazy garden made in northern Elsass
for carrots, I have some of the same concerns, but I put it down to my big soggy fingers and a lack of knowledge when it comes to covering the seeds. I've always had a bit of trouble getting them lifted, but once they've started I usually get beautiful ones without any ...

Re: The lazy garden made in northern Elsass
After long studies conducted on my problem of sowing beans I found the answer (in truth I read something about the forum I believe and I noticed the same thing at home, so I make it my own): I dug up a seed and found a kind of little white slug (and of course viscous) ...
