Re: Put remote probe on thermostat....
Given the color and the shape of the component, it's on a CTN
An 10, 20 or 50 kohms, but it can also be a 470 Kohms. In this case, it may be susceptible to parasites.
Its value in Ohms must be indicated with a number 3 digits, the third digit being the multiplier coefficient.
For example 203 = 20 and 3 zeros = 20 Kohms to 25 °.

Dsl, IZ, I had skipped your explanation. Thank you.
My probe is smaller, ~ ⌀ 3 / 3,5 and spherical (?), Although not easy to define,
it is surrounded by a white "paste / mastic" which does not dry out.
Any "chinoiserie" .......
Goods.

Re: Put remote probe on thermostat....
It's thermal paste. What is written on it. It may take a magnifying glass to see it.

Re: Put remote probe on thermostat....
Oupsss, with my apologies for the inertia ,,, I had zapped the photos ......
I have no "precise" thermometer to measure a sensitive "difference",
but, it's less than half a degree away, so, tip-top for
my nursery, I adapt the thermostat according to the reading with the thermometer.
Thanks again and greetings.
