I love the columbines, at home, they like it well in the middle of shadow and resèment themselves not far from the mother's foot like the lupins

Twandering with clayey and fertile wheat, full of water in winter, cold in spring, crushed and cracked in summer,
but that was before the Didite ...

This is the goal.

That said I am a little disappointed with the 3 columbines that I had last year (bought of course) ... and which nevertheless bloomed which, a priori we swarmed at their feet

They are still alive but not the slightest flower this year without me understanding why (even if I have not looked into the question of why)

Sterile commercial columbines?
Seeds that only germinate after 2 years?

Didn't have time to potash

Brief to follow ...

I have columbines of all kinds and long dates (homemade seedlings) and feet bought in feasts of plants and garden centers, it is random, some like it and many decline

nico you remember, we talked about strawberries some time ago: well today 2nd big picking transformed into jam this afternoon.
18 feet in total + a few old feet that crossed the hay, go 25 feet to break everything.
1st picking 2,3kg + 2nd picking 2,2kg = all that transformed into jam, or 2 times 10 pots (good mom type 370g) = 20 pots
+ a few small pickings between two consumed fresh with yogurt
or in total I would say 5 good kg and it's not over! ...
a lot of rotten strawberries because of the rain, otherwise there would be more

So ? Self-sufficient or not self-sufficient ...

We too, this was jam. I don't weigh, but they are buckets! Also with some rot due to humidity. But besides, the rains, they love!

My fault: I took over runners. Result, I only have two varieties. I will make the sales of the latest rickety trays in garden centers to diversify the variety choice and spread a little more ...

for both of us, we are always happy even with less!
we also had some red cherries (5-6 kg in jam) that the birds were kind enough to leave us : Cheesy: and in July we will have white cherries, often crooked but so good in jam.
and then the raspberries start ... and then there will be the currants, the blackcurrants and the udders and the udders .... there is always something to eat when you have a garden : Mrgreen:
for the varieties, I have a mix bought on the market: charlotte, ciflorette, cirafine, ostara, belle des jardins (anabelle), humi gento, mara des bois, Mme Moutot maybe (normally the old feet that grow back through hay but it was not only that)
I had the opportunity to taste malwina (not backward) last year, deliciously scented!

As there are no strawberries ... or if some savages who were there when we arrived but just enough to peck.

Everything in its time.

In the first place the raspberries in sufficient quantity, that is to say at least thirty feet.

We will already see what the 10 that are in “flower” give.

And then we will restock in feet in the fall.

I will have to take a photo of the installation of the existing feet (raspberries) because they are next to the little wood which has an annoying tendency to "cover" them: is it good or bad?
