About ten pages dedicated to the project of 39 tidal turbines downstream of the Génissiat dam on the Rhone.
39 in 13 clusters of 3 tidal turbines.

General characteristics of the pilot farm:
39 HydroQuest River turbines (P. unit 40kW and 80kW)
Rated power: 2.04 MW
Annual output of 6 MWh (i.e. annual consumption of approximately 700
inhabitants and the equivalent of 2000 tonnes of CO2 emissions avoided per year)

The estuarine tidal stream has become a very tangible reality. Thursday, March 1, in Bordeaux, the Seeneoh site was inaugurated and the first tidal turbine of its kind, produced by the company Hydroquest, was put into service.
