Hello,

So for the tubes (I made according to my boiler (fuel oil)): in mm
Round tube (Outer diameter: 114.3 Thickness: 3)
Round tube (Outer diameter: 101.6 Thickness: 4)

For "the cash" roughly it is a square of 200 * 200 but luck for the resistance a little longer it would not have been worse

and for admission it is 60 square tube

Hello
Small News of the Day:
heat return flame inlet side it's good
on the other hand I always have smoke in the intake and it is always problematic
it will be a gas plant this burner because in the current configuration apart from extracting the fumes at the intake outlet
I can not see
on the other hand I made him spit like never cash and intake "receptacle" temperature level nickel
I still have my thoughts on the problem (I'm not going to do an EGR system and re-inject the fumes from the intake, although almost all this is done on an internal combustion engine : Wink:

Hello

I have been looking for information on the net for several months on the self-construction of pellet burners.

I am delighted to see that following the masterful experience of another is launched ...

For my part I will get started very soon, I was actually waiting to receive "relay timers" that I had ordered in China because I found that a zelio or other arduino was surely too complex (and expensive) to order a probe temperature with relays on off ... (but of course this is only an opinion ..)
There are different models ... the interest is that for example the model without display (duration on / off programmable indefinitely for example for the worm ..) is worth less than 2 euros .. models with display are worth between 2,5, 4 and 2 euros ... so we can imagine combinations and couple them with temperature sensors that we also find around XNUMX euros ...

My problem is going to be (I'm in the south ..) given the mildness of this winter .. to run my boiler intermittently in order to be beyond the dew point with a limited heating need ...

I recovered an old fuel boiler (veissmann duo parola) with hot water tank which works at high temperature, while at the moment I heat myself with a low temperature fuel boiler with 45 ° water temperature at the outlet and which does not work only intermittently ...
I put you the photos of the relays ..
.. at least I will try .. in another post ..

re,

The most complete is the FRM01 perso I took them on aliexpress and I just checked I had ordered them on December 30 and received the day before yesterday .. but I paid them € 3,5 ..

Otherwise you can find them on ebay or amazon books probably more quickly. They can also be used for ignition and the worm.
this one has 18 preprogrammed focntione ...
You can see here ..

The idea being with all these expensive components to use temperature sensors of this kind .. 1 € 50 in China ..

and thus, after an ignition sequence, implement two operating modes of the pellet feed screw or even the fan, to have slow combustion or at full power ...
Maybe even an intermittent fan to keep the embers waiting for a full power restart ... finally a modularity identical to that of a zelio ... for ten euros

The maximum cutout temperature being managed by these probes .. but I think I would rather use a clikson probably more rustic and working in all cases ...
