Of course comfrey is not limiting, nor exclusive, fortunately!
The contemplation of these charming insects is an "activity" that I practice willingly and which is in line with the vegetable garden of the lazy ...

I think we come here necessarily ... Even if I have not yet bothered to learn ...
But I have a neighbor a few hundred meters away who has them, so exchange good neighbors: I feed his herd!

ha, thank you for your messages, it's nice! My little finger tells me that bees could find their happiness in my garden:
there are already lots of comfrey, willows, raspberries, various green manures, clover, fairly diverse fruit trees ... and of course I let everything go to seed!
I look at documentation, it's exciting!

Hello everyone !
first of all best wishes for this new year, that it brings you many vegetables without tillage!
as promised, my first return on a hay cutting test to make furrows.
Here is the brushcutter model I have equipped with:
the brand is timberpro, i paid a hundred euros on manomano
it came with 3 discs, I chose this one to test the cutting of the hay:
and the result of the cutting:
my conclusion: the cut is clean, however I find the angle impractical in relation to my handlebars. On a long line it will not be easy to go straight. Furrow cutting will only be one of the functions of the brushcutter, but I worried that I would need a high-end machine to mechanize the furrow cutting. Here I am reassured for the season to come, I will be able to envisage more culture in my garden of the lazy one.
I hope that this information can be used for other phenocultors on low budgets ... Good evening!

small bonus, I take this opportunity to show you the chamignons which grows on a piece of board loaded with brf for strawberries:
and garlic that is well established:
otherwise not much else, apart from my leeks but they caught the fly, I hesitate to leave them or dezinc them ... but at the same time I am so used to doing nothing!

Have you been able to turn 90 °'s head without difficulty?
[During my stay in Belgium, I tried at "Xavier": it did not seem very difficult to circulate "sideways" by following a straight line - well almost straight "- although the vertical disc is then a significant angle with the tube. For my part, I will undoubtedly afford the luxury of an "edger", which allows to work "straight". With a combi-system, the budget is then 500 euros , with the "good brands" - Stihl, Honda ...]

It also surprised me, how easily we cut cleanly! A real joy.
Xavier welded a second disc, fixed with the first. So suddenly, he makes the two cuts. The width between the discs is variable ...
