Directed by the Belgian journalist Alina Kneepkens, the documentary entitled “Le Chemin du bonbon” and produced by the Flemish chain VRT traces the whole process of making these gelled candies. The trailer for the report, broadcast at the end of August, is mounted upside down, so that we gradually discover what the gelling agent is made of, one of the main ingredients of these sweets.
