Airton opinion air conditioning, inverter or classic?

by Christophe » 25/03/13, 15:28

As part of this project: heating-insulation / air conditioning-reversible-airton-in-winter-battery-ext-under-clamp t12393.html I have to choose a PAC air air. I hesitate between the inverter or classic model from the same manufacturer.

So, question: is the COPA (annual COP) of a DC inverter air conditioning really better than that with a conventional compressor? And level reliability?

Classic model: 349 € (€ 200 less than the Inverter equivalent) for:

Power in cooling mode: 3 550 W. Power in heating mode: 3 650 W. Gas HFC R410A. COP: 3,61 / ERA: Interior noise 3,21: 31 dB Designed to operate at a maximum temperature. -7 ° C. With remote control, installation accessories and electrical wiring.

On paper going from 3.61 3.95 to: the COP in ideal conditions what about in real conditions?

Unlike COP is explained in my opinion largely by the absence of current peaks at startup in DC inverter and also the reduction of transient phases (start / stop)
but beyond that, the number of start / stop greatly influences the life of the elements. it is also an important point in favor of the inverter DC.

I installed a reversible air conditioning toshiba daisekai cop: 5.36 hot 2.5kw!
Mine was a cop for 4.76kw.C'est 3.5 just amazing with positive temperature in 5 10 ° I have a snapshot of conso-environ200 300w I have not made daily balance.
There is a compressor 2 floors.
It's a bit expensive but I hope to recover my investment 2000 euros asked.

Crazy raymon the price difference ... both 3 apparently for a similar product?

The double floor so expensive or is increased reliability to justify that price?

ok with you dirk pitt for the explanation on the cycles ... But on the other hand an inverter has more "precision" electronics likely to break down ...

I installed there 4-5 years a low-end air conditioning it began to leak after 2 years. The aircon is a toshiba 2 m from the computer and I hear hardly turn 20db.

Ben is on that it's more upscale there!

For the flight I know several air conditioning in 400-500 € which rotate for years without worries ... that of Maloche for example ...

I chose this because AC is the one that uses the least, highly reliable from the installer that I know well and also ecological concerns. If I think in terms of balance my photovoltaic roof is enough to warm myself! about 12 daily kw. I had my mare to mount wood 2 th floor.

It's cool to combine CAP heating and PV :)
Bravo did!

What one little noticed is that even the inverter toshiba who do not have dual compressor does not have a very good cop, for example this one:

climshop.com/ras107-skve-xml-209_213_324-830.html
Cop 3.68 to 7 °.

The super daisekai had a nice trick is that the temperature is regulated 2 ° desous as there is nobody in the room which allows not turn off or lower the temperature as you leave the room for a few hours.
I will be curious to know the difference in annual consumption between 2 types of air conditioning and whether I will recover the additional investment?

Hello everyone
I am registered for participating in this subject that interests me.

As Christophe, I eye on the CAP 'airton' low cost. It's cheap and effective.
The problem is that nothing in the store, I saw many customers come back complaining about these cheap or 1 2 aircon after years of installation.
The issue No. 1: leakage circuit. Bringing a pro, plug, recharge etc: € 300 and all this without being certain that there will not be another flight on the circuit this year.

In short, after days of search on the net I found very virulent info on reversible air conditioning.
Supposedly we must take the whole problem and calculate energy consumption primary '. Electricity has a% of 35% yield, think Écolo for our children.

In the end, the guys that have air conditioning would be irresponsible polluters that would worsen the state of the planet for their comfort and their portfolio.

In my situation (new house, April 2013, RT2010, Montauban), I wish to put a mono split daikin FTXS35K and RXS35K or FTXS42K and RXS42K.
But I think in the future, especially that of my portfolio to that of future generations.
What is for you the most solution (in order of priority): economical, reliable, environmentally friendly?

Because ecology ok, but if it is to eat pasta and rice for 20ans rather die in 80ans instead of 110ans.
