Which NRJ for the winter replacement of CESI ROTEX

by fabio.gel » 04/01/13, 20:37

Bonsoir

The water is heated by a CESI Rotex at home.
But in winter in Normandy we see the sun only very little suddenly obligation to bring an electric or gas backup to provide the missing calories :?

Which solution can I use?

Knowing that the house is well insulated (the pellet stove only works very little).

I was thinking of taking a thermo stove as a base but if it does not turn very little the CESI will never be recharged with hot water.

The CESI is now equipped with an electric heating resistance of 3 KW but unfortunately the photovoltaic in winter no question of counting it (I could put an alternator on my exercise bike : Lol: )

Transform a wood stove into a boiler like some econologist why not but to heat 300 liters of water it may be far too powerful?

A heat pump (still EDF in sight
: Cry: )

If you have any other idea : Idea:

Good night

Indeed: at one of my clients last week (Trazegnies, Belgium 14:30 pm)

10.000 KW peak.
Output: 120 watts : Mrgreen:

It should be possible to pass the water from the heating circuit (heated by the pellet stove) through the solar coil of the balloon, using a few valves, right?

Hello,

In your case the solution of resistance is the simplest. If not cold water.

Good night

Well happy new year;)
A hydro pellet stove will light itself if necessary to heat your balloon (well, if you allow it). After the energies electricity gas oil, it is the easiest to automate.

Hi BobFuck (sacred nickname : Shock: )

I found two beautiful videos to compare the operation of my Ravelli Olivia stove

http://youtu.be/5c4IFQwj_zQ

And the HR100 of the same brand

http://youtu.be/Rnp4JxL-Hxs

When you look closely on the first video everything is mounted on the shoehorn to go flow an exchanger or even a copper coil it is far from winning.

the HR100

Considering the price

For a hydro wood stove

Much cheaper but hey the goal of saving money in both cases is missed : Mrgreen:

Hi RV45

I'm going to do a month with the resistance to realize if it's more interesting in terms of roro between gas and electricity ... to follow

It is true that pellet stoves are really good by cons if it stays on too long we will be forced to open the windows to not burst hot : Mrgreen:

80% goes to the water, so a good regul should master it fairly well.

Ah, I thought you already had a water pellet stove, I must have read it wrong ...
