what the manufacturer recommends is a maximum of 4 panels end to end (standard for him)

when they are not !!! by their design

however, the facilities in my neighborhood are at 22.
identical opening surface, number: 5 for one and 6 for the other.

but by the way, how are your 65 m2 of panelX mounted?

1) Ok for the "end to end series" (abuse of language therefore) I do not understand this limitation, there is no proof?

I have already seen assembly in panels (plans) of 8 panels "end to end" ...

2) They are assembled like that it is of the auto construction of 25 years ago, that will not help you too much.

There is a central collector at mid-height, there are 2 * 18 panels of approximately 1.8 m² unit in parallel mounted in series.

So 18 columns and 2 rows if you want. So 18 panels put "end to end" ... we are far from the 4 !!

All the pipes and collectors are made of 26mm copper ... the pipes of the collectors are 8/6.

You must find out about the pkoi of this limitation (pressure drop?) At the manufacturer.

a compensator must be placed beyond 4 panels without exceeding 8.

Ok, but that doesn't say what this "compensator" is. What is its function?

To compensate for mechanical expansions ???

It looks like an elastic connection to compensate for mechanical constraints: a rail can only receive a maximum of 4 sensors.

if 2 rails end to end, lack of rigidity, of resistance ...

Yes I think the same, this is an explanation that suits me. If anyone has others ... I take too!
