Hello,

I saw today, while walking on a day without sun with a temperature of 9 degrees, a sphynx very similar to a moro-sphynx * foraging a laurel tin flower.

In my region (Franche-Comté), it is frankly not common. It seemed to me that it was still winter ...

* the moro-sphynx is a large butterfly foraging without landing while practicing hovering, which makes it look like a small hummingbird, its long tongue resembling the sharp beak of the bird.

Same with me: the roses have already had buds and leaves for the year since the end of January ...

It froze a maximum of 2 times throughout the winter.

I confirm that the climate is overwhelming: this year my hens started laying again at the end of December while they are waiting for spring to recover. It really is a sign that something exceptional is happening!

Everything is definitely "relative":

Historical snowfall has killed 19 people since Friday in Japan, according to the latest figures published Monday February 17 by the Japanese press. The victims died in accidents caused by snow and very strong winds that hit a large part of the country, including Tokyo in the east.

So yes: more extremes, more excitement ...

After Brittany, it is Aquitaine's turn to be affected by floods: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgjt3P8myiM
