Most of the hamlets around the airports were built "after" the airport at an unbeatable price given the nuisance (noise and odors of kerosene).
the local residents make petitions and demonstrations against the airport and also against the aerodromes.

Pitete that Villepin hopes to win also a near-port electorate and do the one who is interested in noise pollution.

Two small remakes:

1) What would the pact do if ALL the official candidates signed it? Indeed, none would be separated ...

2) Who or what proves us or rather guarantees us that (the lucky) elected, if he was a signatory of the pact, will apply it? (and so he did not sign it by sheer opportunism?)

Pact definition:
Latin word .Other term to designate an agreement, convention or contract
For me
1) it would only be a step forward in policy awareness
and it's already a beginning.

2) is the one elected acted in the sense of the pact or otherwise it will demonstrate that it is a liar ....

For now there is only one who signed it and it is not green ?????

Hulot and the Greens

by osprey » 16/11/06, 10:45

Yes indeed it concerns me that the Greens (political) are so discreet in relation to the campaign (or rather approach) Nicolas Hulot. Do they feel competing? Are they jealous that he is more listened to than they? Do they prefer to act in the shadows, without announcement or demagoguery? Perhaps they regret that N. Hulot is not affiliated to a political party, that he addresses, on the contrary, to all? In any case we do not hear them bcp these times.

[Humor mode to the con]
The Ribbentrop-Molotov pact of non-aggression, also called German-Soviet pact was signed on August 23 1939 between the foreign ministers of the Third Reich (Joachim von Ribbentrop) and the Soviet Union (Vyacheslav Molotov).

(...)

Named after the Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, Operation Barbarossa (in German, Unternehmen Barbarossa) was the code name for the Third Reich's invasion of the USSR during the Second World War. Triggered the 22 June 1941, it opens the Eastern Front ...

A little of all that I think and when we see that Voynet and Lepage do not want to unite we wonder what is actually motivating the ecologists ... In my opinion it's not the environment : roll:

Moue .. I think the problem comes from concessions to make, in addition to personal ambitions.

The "Green parties" are absolutely committed to THEIR ideas and do not want to accept to apply only a small part (the common part) ...

This is where I think the great strength of NH is that he wants first and foremost to make things happen, change attitudes, get people talking and he is very good at it.

it is true that it gives some thought to the good will of certain representatives supposed to be interested in the future of this country.

A little anecdote about Lepage: I really liked his sentence about the Erika oil spill:

"Don't go clean the beaches (for free)"

Indeed, I think that going to clean the beaches voluntarily is to endorse the oil spills by avoiding polluters to face their responsibility (or at least by decreasing it) ...
