I have indeed noted that, although the transmitter no longer broadcasts France Inter, its carrier is still present. Admittedly this can allow the dissemination of clock or other information, but does this information require the enormous power of 2 MW? In any case, I do not see how we could justify stopping the broadcasting of France Inter by considerations of energy saving as long as the carrier is still present.

Savings have never been justified by France Inter's shutdown energy.
It's just savings financial for France Inter which has not renewed its contract with TDF (and of course a new financial charge for TDF if the continued operation of the transmitter continues ...).

TDF continues to transmit clock signals (we do not know at what power, probably no more than the previous nighttime emission, that is 1MW), so much the better, but for how long :?:
