It's very true,

An Oscar awards the production company for the best film (according to the jury's taste), the best screenplay, the best special effects, the musical soundtrack, the actors ...

The Oscars are awarded by American jurors, so inevitably, the patriotic flame will touch them all the more that the poor marines shit on foreign territory,

and to hell with the scruffy details and intrusive politics of EU ....

Ayé, I finally saw the film (not in 3D but in HD I was waiting to be equipped) ... it really takes your breath away.

So the special effects and the atmosphere bravo but the scenario sorry but why go looking in the future and in another star system for what happened and what is happening now much closer to home, mainly in Africa or South America?

Besides, the customs of the Navis and even their make-up, clothes and "jewelry" are close to African tribes and / or Native American tribes (north and south) ... it is surely desired but it is sure that a documentary ( even in 3D) on these populations and the abuses of our oil or mining companies would certainly have been much less selling ... it's not good to be judgmental.

Now did Avatar's core message get through to most viewers? I don't know ... and I doubt it ...

We don't care about the bottom : Cheesy:

It is only a film, and the lack of imagination of the screenwriter is felt on the copy Collé of the Indian way of life, nevertheless there is still a privileged and concrete relationship with mother nature in the film. that we do not have around us :D. And let's not forget that in this movie, the ugly Terran is the bad (American?)

I particularly liked the hero's second life and of course, the landscapes created from scratch, the forms of life, the luminous plants ...
