ARTE, planet down: a green public housing

by jean63 » 02/10/07, 16:15

What energy for tomorrow ... it's tonight on ARTE (Thematic with débat..normalement).

"When there is no more oil, we will take a cart ride", sang the Jacques Brothers. Before arriving there, "Thema" reviews various alternatives to traditional energies, even considering the unthinkable: a world without cars!

Only when he has brought down the last tree, the last river contaminated, the last fish caught that man will realize that money is not edible (Indian MOHAWK).

made new

Here's a good summary:

http://www.arte.tv/fr/Quelles-energies- ... 99006.html

I think most of the hard-working econologists of forums will not learn much but hey ... one more program does not hurt ... too bad it is not more focused on "modern" solutions, this kind of listing has probably already been written there at 30: http://www.arte.tv/fr/histoire-societe/1699260.html

When I think it's modern: microalgae, solar hydrogen, miscanthus, hvb short cycle ...

All do agree, I have the impression that we do not want to show everything.

Or style as to jt of 13h France2 on the 01.09.07.

There is a story about the Island and geothermal and at the end of the report it says they want

produce green hydrogen for vehicles.

It has just finished, it was not bad, I took notes and I would make a synthetic account tomorrow morning.

Yes it was very good and I go back to what I said above because

this is the first report that I see on a chain (French)

which pretty much sums up the issue of energy,

and of all the actors that revolves around.

French Uh is quickly said the reports were German 3 : Mrgreen:

N'empeche zon not talked about crude oils or oleaginous algae ... almost only "political correctness" although they denounced the deviations of American corn ethanol on food corn prices ...

Ok it lack of energy, but this is a good start : Idea:

And they also talked about the non-application of the guidelines

European or hypocrisy of our leaders.

Yes to hypocrisy (especially for France, which seems to confuse renewable and non-emission of CO2) ... Following tomorrow with numbers it's late here ...
