+1 and +1 also for Targol and Martien.
Regarding DSK and its salary, the figure is good but not the currency; it is therefore € 280 / year.
To add a layer, it is the kind of character who will place part of his money on the stock market, contributing directly or not, consciously or not to the rise in raw materials and who will say to the States: must give a little your public money to avoid starvation (to which it indirectly contributes). Isn't that funny? : Evil: : Evil:
And when we know that the salary of DSK is paid by the repayment of the loans granted to the borrowing countries, very often poor ...... : Evil: : Evil:

I think we are all more or less in agreement on this forum: extreme capitalism = anti-econology

By the way you know the song "sauvons vivendi" otherwise you can listen to it on the jukebox: https://www.econologie.com/radio.html

(use the arrow to descend it is the 1st of the Fatals Picards)

To take obviously in the 4th degree ...

Good news anyway: Louis Michel (a Belgian, a French-speaking liberal), European Commissioner for Development Aid, denounced this morning or yesterday evening the use of bio-fuels.
(I couldn't find the info)
Like what certain ideas still make their way.

Yeah except that he should have talked about AGROcarburant ... or bordering on 1st generation BIOcarburant ... : Evil:

Again to condemn the PRINCIPLE even of biofuel it is stupid and I think more and more that it is what bush and his associates wanted by launching the corn ethanol ...

I no longer have the news, I think it is indeed agros fuels, excuse me for this inaccuracy? Louis Michel actually wanted to condemn the cloud of foodstuffs for energy needs.

Excellent these 2 cartoons : Lol: they sum up the situation well.

We could add the Chinese who give their imported cereals to the animals they then eat, instead of eating the cereals directly. With us we could eat a lot less meat, there would be cereals for everyone. Overcrowding is a FALSE problem. The shortage is organized for speculators to put their pockets in it, it allows the IMF to exist because it is no longer used for anything.

Meat among the Chinese is a novelty from the West since it ate only little meat, maybe a few cats ??

Ditto for milk, the Chintoks start eating more and more dairy products made by Danone : Shock:

[little HS about Danone]
Yesterday I heard a column on "France nympho" during which the columnist congratulated himself on the fact that, despite the increase in the price of raw materials, Danone's turnover had not fallen, on the contrary because 'business had been able to fully transfer the rise in raw materials to the consumer.
The columnist jovially concludes that, suddenly, Danone maintained its forecast numbers for 2008 and even promised a nice dividend per share at the end of the year.
Again, the basic clampin pays and the actuaries rake in : Evil:

Astonishing ....: Cheesy: : Cheesy:

It goes well with what I was saying about purchasing power with its drop for "us" the little ones, there are necessarily winners: https://www.econologie.com/forums/inflation- ... t5201.html

ps: France Nympho does that interest me, is that where we get it? :D (not Christine's head)

You should know that adult Asians cannot digest milk because they lose the enzymes necessary for the breakdown of lactose, yogurts allow them to consume dairy products, let's say ... predigested ...
the fact that eating habits are changing (Neanderthals mainly ate meat just like ... eskimos ...), should not hide the main problem: there are too many humans, that's all, and the destruction of natural environments has not started now, especially in China and the USA, but since the 50s with the population explosion ...
example (I had the figures at hand, but other countries would perhaps be even more representative of the problem ...): Algeria in 1930, 7.6M of indigenous inhabitants (granary of wheat from Europe to 'in 1962, large exporter of agricultural products, today, more than 33M (or 4.3x more in such a short time!), more self-sufficient for a long time ... And Algeria is today, of far away, the African country with the lowest demography ...
meanwhile, France went from 41M in 1930 to "only" 61.8M today (including a good proportion in the form of immigration, especially of European nationals: Italians, Poles, Spaniards, Portuguese, etc ...) ... and yet France has the highest demography in Europe after Ireland ...

you want to know the truth? the planet earth cannot sustainably support more than 1 billion humans living in the standarts of the so-called rich countries ... in other words we are not out of the M ... : Cry:
