My level of English does not allow me to understand everything, but what I see is that with a simple little school board the commentator explains why the solar road is an absurd project.
This little school board is to put in opposition to the voluminous technical files of the design offices and engineers who helped to mount this expensive project and doomed to failure.
This is what is missing in the ministries: school boards to demonstrate in a few lines the absurdity of certain projects! ...

Yes, after having the guts to show it to the Minister! Especially when he / she is Ségo style! When more is the original .....

Re: Solar Road Ségolène laughing
The school board is only a metaphor for reasoning from the bottom up and asking the right questions, not how, but why ... Unfortunately, this type of questioning has been carefully unlearned.

I corrected your post grelinette
I do not think leaders are stupid, they know very well what they do. The important thing in this type of project is not the energy efficiency, but the impact on the image for policies, profits and tax credits for industry.

What is expensive for some is profitable for others, it is a great principle of the economy ...

Certainly ... but this reasoning is absurd because very quickly there is a violent return of crank, especially when we go to the door the scientific foundations of a project.
This is what is happening in this debate: with this absurd project, the specialists of the sector quickly went to the crenellations (including abroad) to signal the incoherence of the project, and our former minister of the environment ridiculed and passed for particularly incompetent!
The worst being that now that the road is built (a small part fortunately), not only is the ineptitude of the project, we also see that the forecasts announced in terms of energy production were bido, then we will attend the progressive deterioration of this road ...
In the end, it will be an additional symbol of the lightness of our policies that waste public money by offering unscrupulous manufacturers ready to capture public funds.

Yes except that in politics it's a little bit always the same who benefit ...
That is to say the companies which have "relations" in politics even if the public calls for tenders are meant to be democratic and transparent (what am I defaming here? But no ... not even true !!)
So ask this ex-Lorraine entrepreneur who denounced the "mafia" system of the public construction market in a book. He was threatened with death (I don't know if he is still alive today ...) ... if this is not proof that the term mafia was well used (but that they are stupid and mean! !) ... yes yes we are talking about France today ...
ps: thanks for excusing my naivety ...

On the other hand 20 minutes is long, personally I would have shipped the thing in 3 minutes chrono ... (this is what we did higher since 18 month ...)
