Re: sodium-sulfur batteries

The price of the energy stored me seem very important (70 € / kWh for electricity sold to 0.15 € / kWh by EDF ???): raymon spoke of 3 cents per kWh for STEP?

Yes there is a confusion 70 euros / kwh is to have a storage 1 kwh, 3cts is the cost of a kWh consumed.

Re: hydraulic turbine technology

Effective turbine leaves very little water escaping around her pale

It looks like a "virtual" worm. So this can possibly recover a lot of energy from the water rubbing longer on the rotor.

Re: hydraulic turbine technology

Water arrives on the perimeter and down the middle.
It is precisely this that is interesting since the water by turning the principle is different it is not a simple venturi effect.

Re: hydraulic turbine technology

I find the concept interesting because it through on a slightly different principle of Kplan example. But interesting because it is the first time I see a turbine using a vortex to operate. It remains to know the rendement.Mais difficult to do better than Kaplan.

New hydraulic turbine technology

Miroslav Sedláček finalist for the European Inventor Award 2016 has created a really strange new hydraulic turbine system: http://positivr.fr/setur-bladeless-turbine-hydraulique-miroslav-sedlacek-electricite-eau/?mc_cid=9391e77275&mc_eid = 6d676277b4 http://vortexhydro.com/index.php I have ...

Re: inter seasonal storage solar thermal

In fact you know the zeolite it seems interesting we could almost open a new subject: Concretely, the realization of this heating of the future would consist in placing this reactor on a hot source, at the exit of a household waste incinerator for example or of an installation ...

@lilian07
There is one thing that bothers me in this system is that you have to be sure there is not too much traffic groundwater if not calories risk from ground water.

Re: Victory Brexit: consequences for Europe?

You scare me ? what would happen if a multitude of refrendums took contradictory decisions? who would run? good democracy remains to be invented, because I do not see a very effective current democracy We are not obliged to vote every week for the decisions taken ...

Re: Victory Brexit: consequences for Europe?

democracy is very complicated. Because you confuse democracy and representative democracy. Democracy is for example a referendum of popular initiative, representative democracy we elect a representative and then this representative does the opposite of what he promised, example Hollande the ...
