Re: Combustion issue never fixed Okofen
I do not have the necessary skills to know if the output is suitable, it would absolutely be necessary to check this with the manufacturer since there are technical documents which bind them. It looks like this kind of document: http://www.cstb.fr/pdf/atec/GS14-O/AO2131908_V3.pdf By unplugging the power plug...

Re: Combustion issue never fixed Okofen
Ah, I just looked at the compact and on this boiler they have abandoned the volcano burner, the pellets come from the side and it is not possible to create a large block of embers. So I said something stupid, and I apologize for that.

Re: Combustion issue never fixed Okofen
If it vents, all the pellets should be burned and Okofen does not use this 3rd mode. So the buffer tank is necessary.

Re: Combustion issue never fixed Okofen
The "volcano" burners have 3 operating states: 1- off 2- combustion 3- standby If the first 2 states do not pose any problem, the 3rd is debatable. Indeed, in this state, the boiler cuts the arrival of pellets and the mechanical supply of air, so as to maintain a block of arms...

Re: Pellet stove construction
Then there is still the maximum boiler T° setpoint that would be reached. Each stove manufacturer customizes the program, some lower the extractor speed gradually. Otherwise, the air from the clean glass system acts as secondary or tertiary air if we consider that the three...

Re: Pellet stove construction
yes, if summer mode and no DHW tank sensor is connected, there is no demand and therefore it switches to modulation or standby.

Re: Boiler circulation problem
I just read the topic. In thermosiphon, putting a section of pipe that goes down on the hot outlet of the generator blocks the circulation, it has a lot of trouble starting. In my opinion, this is when the bubbles were created. Finally one of the moments, the 2nd possible being during the circuit...

Hello,
Sorry, I missed your post. To me, that's a sign of insufficient draft. tubing too small, poorly insulated, clogged with soot, etc...
In the meantime, have you solved the problem?

Re: Pellets and pellets: what future for prices?
The price of pellets remained low thanks to foreign, Polish, Romanian, Belarusian and Russian competition. Now that our enarques have cut us off from a good part of the supply, there is not enough since Europe consumes more than it produces. If you were a producer and you couldn't...
