On the one hand they are leaders in renewable technologies and installations (Stirling, solar ...)

On the other hand, they are big fans of coal plants. On the one hand because they have many, on the other hand because the anti-nuclear lobby is quite strong in Germany.

And then they are too dependent on Russian gas. Like us, but we have nuclear power that saves us a little ... Nevertheless, we should have developed something else a long time ago ...

Nice this breathingearth site!

Exactly Sir.

I already talked about the German coal power plants - recent report - surface mines, 20 power plants under construction or partially already in service since gvt Shroeder folded in 1992? under the injunctions of the German anti-nuclear Greens because until 3 years ago there was not much talk of CO2 but especially of the risks of nuclear power - contamination and waste -

Next to that they have a large wind farm but it is peanuts compared to their huge CO2 emissions.
In addition they have large Mercedes BM Porsche sedans and cie that they sell well around the world which overall produce much more CO2 than small Twingo even if we put in exception the BMW series efficient dynamics. And above all the Germans prefer to tighten their belts in food or other goods for a big car that will roll at 230 on the highway and spit out a maximum of CO2 because at 230 is not the rate announced on the advertisement per km.

They have signed privileged agreements with Putin for the gas - gas pipeline - in Northern Europe.

Mrs. Merkel makes her business work and in fact she does not care much about other European countries and their problems.

And yes Martian. You put your saucer in Münich :?: 8)

But don't worry about Germany, they will always be successful. Their automotive industry is in the process of reorienting itself on clean engines (BMW efficient dynamics, Mercedes Blue tech, Diesotto ...).

They dammed the pawn to the whole world on injection techniques, they will continue on new engines and associated clean technologies, although they drag a little on the hybrid (but it is a proven choice on their part, this is not a technical problem ...)

Admittedly they like the big car, but at the same time, if your Diesel of 140 Ch consume 5 or 6L / 100 km, it is thanks to them ... The direct high pressure injection, the computers, you know? Mr. Bosch, Siemens? .... The KE Jetronic, the DI Motronic in the 80s and 90s for petrol?

Without them, our cars would not be Diesel and would still consume 15L / 100 km of petrol. In this, they contribute to ecology contrary to what the "good thinking" want us to believe.

You could almost say they can afford a little 240 on the highway because they save fuel around the world with their TDI and FSI. But there, I provoke a little :P

They also make a lot of small cars, notably at Volkswagen (Lupo, Golf), but not only, BMW series 1 and 3, Audi A1, A3, Mercedes class A ...

Here are two small points of reference to counterbalance this partial vision that the Deutsch likes only the Porsche Cayenne or a BMW series 5 at 250 km / h on the Autobahn ... :P
