Axis power calculation

by orbs » 22/01/08, 06:19

Good evening
is it possible to calculate the power at the axis of a wheel:
2 setups:
-wheel 5cm in diameter, being driven on its circumference by a connecting rod having a thrust of 150daN at 100t / m
-wheel 10cm in diameter, being driven on its circumference by a connecting rod having a thrust of 150daN at 100t / m
please

what changes in this case is above all the couple ...
For the calculation, if I remember correctly it is:
P (power in watt) = (Pi x torque in Nm x speed of rotation in Rad / sec) / 30

but all that without taking into account any mechanical losses ...
