The end of August, traditionally marking the return of holidays, the association GERES - Renewable Energies Group, Environment and Solidarities - wished to take this opportunity to raise awareness of the general public about climate change and the impact of air travel and on the climate.
You will find enclosed a press release introducing CO2 Solidaire, a voluntary compensation scheme for greenhouse gas emissions carried by GERES. A way for everyone to become a player in the fight against climate change.
By offsetting their emissions with CO2 Solidaire, individuals, businesses and communities participate in the implementation of sustainable development projects in the South. Preserving the environment, reducing inequalities and precariousness, these are the issues that the GERES team and its partners try to answer every day on the ground.
