A strange accident took place this Wednesday morning in the port of Barcelona. A ferry "Excellent" of the company GNV, coming from Genoa, badly negotiated its entry violently collided with a crane which is used to load the containers.
The latter, in shock, rocked and totally overturned. Once she hit the ground, the craft caused a major fire.
Fortunately, there were no casualties, and firefighters rushed to the scene and managed to evacuate the area.
A specific rescue plan was triggered by the rescue service, which notably found that the materials stored in the four containers in flame could potentially present a danger.
