Re: Electric bike: an acceptable compromise?
... so those who do not seek sensations and are content to move around taking into account the presence and the rights of other users would not be "human"?

Re: Electric bike: an acceptable compromise?
Simple reasoning by the absurd ... but a little sophism too!
Just to avoid hasty judgments.

In Paris, the people I am talking about are riding on the sidewalk bike lanes and seem to be in constant competition with their peers, to the pity of the pedestrians who risk their lives by crossing these tracks!
If the streets were empty of traffic, would one have to notice such behaviors?
It's up to them to ask!

Re: Electric bike: an acceptable compromise?
Yes it's up to them ... even if we have some idea of the answer ...
Speaking of danger, I just discovered the bike stroller (not electric but it can be) if so!
The front bumper is your cherub! It's not a joke
Consider this: https://www.2ememain.be/enfants-b%C3%A9 ... 74982.html
Do not use in Paris intra muros!

In the same spirit, there have been for quite some time electric scooters to carry a lot of kidbags, more effective in case of shock a little serious.

Re: Electric bike: an acceptable compromise?
Mainly by the Malthusians, but in most cases this use is involuntary *, it seems ...
* Freudians will probably see an unconscious desire on the nature of which I let you speculate ...
- Kidbag = child (s) -tampon.
