Troubleshooting dishwasher (cycling pump)

by izentrop » 08/07/18, 21:17

Hello,
Twice in a row, the dishes came out dirty and the smell of heated plastic was felt.
It is an OCEANIC LVW1249DD of 7 years.

So I performed a test run on the quick program, connected with a consumption meter.
The cycle begins with emptying> the pump operates.
Then filling> No solenoid valve problem.
Then start the wash. Normally a clack is heard then we hear the water circulate and the arms rotate.
Instead, a purring that lasts a moment, a consumption of 270 w and that smell of burning that comes back.
Then the machine finally starts and turns apparently normally (About 80 w, then 1500w for heating the water).

I stopped the machine and restarted while the water is empty.

Diagnosis: Probably the faulty capacitor or bad contact.
While searching on the internet, I came across this: https://www.commentreparer.com/34642/La ... marre-plus
Pile-hair my problem.
And this explanatory video:

The capacitor is an 3 μF and I just kept an old engine with an 4 μF.
Normally it is not critical, I will try to replace only the condo, because to dismount it always goes.

Bingo : Lol: it reworked the first shots :P

It's a little out of place in relation to your problem but it still has to do with the dishwasher : Mrgreen:

Do you know how or what you can wash a dishwasher?

Provided it is possible, of course.

Or do you have to bang it on your knees?

Because, curious thing, ours clogs in several places whereas it turns regularly ...

The dishes come out nickel but the dishwasher is .... dirty Image

Hello,
Yes, the filter and around the door seal, but it's rare.
Before I had an Indesit I made last by repairing it several times. It was necessary to clean the filter quite often and the dishes should not be too dirty.
Since I have this one, it's much less often.
At the bottom of the door seal, it cleans well enough with a degreasing product.
