10 000 deaths per year due to medication errors
In 2013, an official report by Medical Professors Bernard Bégaud and Dominique Costagliola [1] concluded that:
"France is one of the developed countries with the highest rate of drug consumption per capita and the one in which non-compliant prescriptions seem to be the most frequent, if not trivialized";
"The consequences of this situation constitute a considerable burden, comparable in magnitude to the great health scourges affecting our country"
And indeed, the numbers they give are staggering:
more than 130 000 hospitalizations per year related to adverse drug effects ...
... and 10 000 to 30 000 deaths attributable to a medical accident ... much of which is related to a "non-compliant" prescription!
So the bad prescriptions of doctors and pharmacists cause about 2 times more deaths than road accidents in France!
Today, we put radars everywhere ... we limit the speed to 80 km / h ...
... but when are real limitations to the abusive prescription of medicines ??
A recent survey has even shown that it would be enough to enter a pharmacy to be in danger of death!
One pharmacy out of four gives dangerous advice !!!
It's the association "Que Choisir" that made this incredible revelation [2].
They conducted the survey on more than 700 pharmacies ... and their findings are staggering.
Members of the association have entered pharmacies to ask for drugs for a simple "cold" ...
... and in more than half of the cases, the pharmacist advised them a dose higher than 3 grams of paracetamol, which is very dangerous.
Worse, in a quarter of the pharmacies, they were even advised more 4 grams of paracetamol, a dose able to kill your liver in a few hours!
Reaction of the President of the Council of Pharmacists, Carine Wolf-Thal:
"It's completely unsatisfactory, it's clear"

Hello,
Is it supposed to prove what?
Is it better to read the leaflet than to listen to your pharmacist? yes, because he is not responsible for the prescription.

Do you read how many of your posts in this thread are also about homeopathy in India in relation to those who are all simply against homeopathy?
Good evening, I'm going to pick up my strawberries and my cherries before the blackbirds!
