What if this whole story was meant to make a little wheat on the back of a multinational.
Not very bad except that it has done a lot of harm to farmers and especially to those who make the effort of conservation agriculture and give false ideas to the consumer. http://imposteurs.over-blog.com/2017/11 ... irant.html

Finally a medium which involves competent people in their debates.
It does not concern the former minister of which this is the only argument, nor the patronage environmentalist NGO:

“Glyphosate? I quit 3 years ago! " http://www.agri-culture.fr/article/agri ... il-y-3-ans
But this is not possible for all farmers, nor in all climates and it is expensive in material and energy.

It's interesting this personal notion of competence and incompetence: do you have the skills to judge?
Otherwise the debate was fairly balanced, but the reasons for some are not the reasons for others. On the one hand ecological, turned towards the future and the long-term health of the populations, on the other a technical point of view only, without projection towards the future.
If Roundup has been blamed for additives increasing “efficiency” and consequently health risks, it is true that this may not concern glyphosate alone. On the other hand, there does not seem to be (in any case this was not mentioned) studies on the synergistic effect between the different agricultural products used and which can then induce a carcinogenic effect, or other, as for the Most synthetic products invented by humans. However, these studies on the synergistic or cumulative effects are impossible to carry out given the complexity and the cost of the studies which would be necessary, and over a very long term, of these cumulative effects.
So it's haphazard luck hoping that it doesn't go upset for generations to come.

Re: Monsanto Roundup deadly to humans - Glyphosate
I had not seen him pass that one:
Even our President and his Minister of Ecology... a pro-European president and his Minister of Ecology disagree with the Commission and put the scientific community of an entire country on notice by committing on its behalf to the fact that it is possible to find an alternative molecule to Glyphosate. Kafka would undoubtedly have enjoyed it ...
Social networks, a new tyranny of information
... The opinion of the "pillar of the counter" is worth the publication of Newton's work. This makes the Internet both the largest library in the world and the world's trash of information: a place of impunity where any author can boast of science.
https://www.latribune.fr/opinions/tribu ... 62142.htmlIt is even counterproductive in terms of health. Because the perennial grasses that it allows to destroy are often intermediate hosts of pathogens in our cultivated plants. These pathogens, which produce alkaloids and toxins that can attack our brain cells (ergoline), are anti-nutritional factors, even powerful endocrine disruptors (mycotoxins), or carcinogenic precursors.

Re: Monsanto Roundup deadly to humans - Glyphosate
We see the favorite argument of the great ignorant.Beware of vegetarian drift
On the eve of the conclusions of the General Meeting on Food, be careful that the obsession with "healthy eating" does not fuel, if I may say so, the drift of vegetarians, vegans, raw food eaters ... imprison in a set of rules and behaviors in the name of the "truth to live longer", even of immortality.
1. Already the VGs are only a tiny minority of the population and hardly present a "danger" for the enormous agri-food lobbies: the elephant being afraid of a mouse!
2. Not all VGs are pro organic, far from it and particularly a large part of vegans, in France anyway! This decreases by as much "the drifts" towards organic
3. Then, the VG increase their vegetable consumption compared to the rest of the population and therefore promote the expansion of agriculture in general.
4. Raw eaters (he doesn't even have to know what it is by the way) are VG who do not cook their food, which saves energy, not who stop eating!
Same kind of fallacious arguments characteristic of the great ignorant!who imprison themselves in a set of rules and behaviors in the name of "truth to live longer", even immortality.
The mega-American study of 10.000 dieticians shows that these rules, (which this gentleman believes he knows but clearly he does not) promote better general health of populations who are VG which can, eventually, allow them to live longer as by being a consequence, not a cause.
As for a claim of immortality, this character emphasizes that he thus takes his fantasies for a reality on the ground! And everything is to match!
The last argument is probably the only realistic part about marketing, indeed, but not about fear, only about caution. The food fear that they induce has become a marketing weapon for mass distribution which, in a stagnant market, is competing for new replacement niches. The GMO-free, pesticide-free, gluten-free guarantee ... Health foods and food supplements have become their new Eldorado
On the other hand there, he takes his desires for a reality. It is not enough to pretend, it is necessary to prove and it is far from being able to do it, obviously!with fallacious and truncated arguments.
This is the typical example, again, of a false argument. All companies are carrot and stick, whether in this area or others. However, he should clean in front of his door before asking others to do so. The agro-food industry (which must be distinguished from the farmers themselves, victims of this industry) has manipulated, in abundance, this notion of fear of "lack" and therefore led to an overabundance of products and treatments. consecutive to a misguided agrarian mode."Fear is always a bad counselor."
My grandmother used to say: “Fear is always a bad counselor”. Every reasonable person therefore has a duty to denounce these abuses that we are witnessing. Facts are not beliefs and denying them leads our societies to drift. … .Do not give in to the blackmail of those who use fear for unspeakable objectives and political orientations.
A real scientific evaluation can only be credible and acceptable if it is truly independent of lobbies industrial, which is not currently the case despite some indisputable progress on this side!Let us remain vigilant in the drifts, let us help to build a society which is based on a real scientific assessment of the risk and on mutual trust. Fear is always a bad counselor.
