"The wolf in the sheepfold" Eva Joly attacks Luxembourg

by Christophe » 08/06/16, 20:21

I have always admired the courage and the outspokenness of Eva Joly ... one more proof that I was not wrong (well she made some mistakes in political communication strategy in 2012 ...)

The MEP and former candidate of the Greens for the presidential election of 2012 takes out a book against Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the European Commission. Look.

Trial of the "Luxleaks", pleadings of the three French whistleblowers, revelation of the Panama Papers ... Eva Joly could not have hoped for a better time to release her new book: "Le loup dans la bergerie", co-written with journalist Guillemette Faure (Les arènes editions). (...)

Yes, remarkable personality!

I would also have to pay a vibrant tribute to the great prosecutors and honest lawyers of our time: Carla Del Ponte, Eva Joly, Dick Marty, François Molins public prosecutor (responsible for the attacks of November 13 and who must know things ) ditto for his Belgian counterpart the federal prosecutor Frédéric Van Leeuw. And without forgetting those among the most shocking assassinations (although all of them are) in recent history:

Benazir Bhutto, leader of the Pakistan People's Party and former Pakistani Prime Minister.
Paolo Borsellino, Italian anti-mafia judge.
Phûlan Devî, member of the Indian feminist Parliament and former dacoït.
Giovanni Falcone, Italian anti-mafia judge.
Pierre Gemayel, Lebanese Minister for Industry.
Rafiq Hariri, former Prime Minister of Lebanon.
Bola Ige, Nigerian Minister of Justice.
Anna Lindh, Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs
Siddiq Khan Kanju, former Pakistani Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Ahmed Chah Massoud, leader of the resistance against the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Pierre Michel, French investigating judge.
Khattiya Sawasdiphol, Thai general (leader of the People's Democratic Party of the former Prime Minister Taksin Shinawatra)
Sérgio Vieira de Mello, UN Special Representative in Iraq.
Boris Nemtsov, Russian politician.
Mustafa Zibri, Palestinian politician.

I point out that, so as not that some focus on one person, there are a lot of "whistleblowers" (Assange, Snowden, etc) But those cited are in the legislative are really on the front line as long as they are part of the apparatus of power .. Eva joly, for example, denounced notammant the "Vulture Funds" (I will say no more).

No.
But perhaps we should split up and make another thread in tribute to the victims?
Because alas it will not be the last victim.

Another controversial subject? Bad ...

And your list is certainly far from complete ...

Are you serious? Would an idiot want controversy in a tribute thread?
Is that your argument, sometimes it escapes me?
Speaking of controversy, guess who opens the most thread of this type here? : Lol:

I feel how it might turn out given certain phenomena here ...

Create it if you want, but I would have warned you!
