The cherry season!

by Ahmed » 21/06/14, 22:25

It's time to harvest the cherries and to pit them, here's a trick that I just tested successfully.
Rather than starting from a paper clip, you should prefer a stiffer stainless steel wire (it is also more coherent: why destroy an object to use it only as raw material?).

It is not as fast as the most efficient pits on the market, but it is enough for family consumption; in addition, the cherry is much less damaged by the operation, which is not worse for the conservation (suddenly, less projection of juice and less loss of pulp).
We can still add to the list of its advantages: easy to store and quick to clean ...

Now is the time to try it out and let me know your comments!

Yes, considering the hot spring that we had, everything is early this year.

Yesterday I was with blueberries, already ripe for the most part, whereas generally it is in July that they are ripe (see in August)
