Each wind turbine profile has an optimal use.
The universal wind turbine therefore does not exist!
In any case, for this one, an advantage that I see is its ability to be able to adapt easily to the change of wind.
In addition to the fact that it does not need to drift, if the construction material is flexible enough (and that its support allows it), when it takes a stronger wind, it can lengthen along its axis and thus offer less wind resistance ...
That said, I don't understand the reason why it is quieter than a conventional wind turbine. Perhaps the slower rotation speed? ...

I tried to reproduce a blade of the spiral as shown in the doc, but I could not do it.
By going to the site, the document which showed the trick is no longer available. I am sure it is because of this error.
I see 2 big advantages to this wind turbine compared to a triple blade by examples.
1. No need for guidance
2. Silent because the variation in wind thrust does not vary over one revolution and the speed at the blade tip is limited to 2.5 times the wind speed.

a good wind turbine must however be able to adapt to a fairly wide wind range!
I only see 2 ways to adapt to the wind
1) sailing boat method: variable blade surface adapted to the wind: classic windmill wing, where you had to climb the wings to change the surface, then berton wing with mechanical change of the wing surface
2) modern wind method with blades of small surface, whose effective surface is multiplied by a high speed until reaching the total surface of the disc
practically large modern wind turbines have a wider range of wind adaptation than berton windmills
a long time ago I was in favor of a sailing solution like a Greek windmill, with sails like boat jibs: furling jib: but all things considered it is more expensive and less efficient than conventional wind turbines
