Nuclear safety in France is not perfect ... Ah well?

Oil, gas, coal, nuclear (PWR, EPR, hot fusion, ITER), gas and coal thermal power plants, cogeneration, tri-generation. Peakoil, depletion, economics, technologies and geopolitical strategies. Prices, pollution, economic and social costs ...

In France, according to INSERM, the risk of severe leukemia for children almost doubles in the vicinity of the 19 nuclear power plant sites within 5 km, which could be due to unmeasured, poorly controlled, even hidden or neglected releases, as for Sellafield in England with a serious accident in 1957 and an excess of diseases around, quite hidden and denied:

Even in normal operation nuclear presents dangers for our children, which are poorly defined and poorly studied, given the very small number of epidemiological studies in France, on all possible causes of diseases, various pollutions, PCBs, dioxins, insecticides, fungicides , etc.
The delay between the 2007 studies and the 2012 publication, proves the insufficiency of this type of epidemiological studies, on all possible causes.
