About the relationship between bees / honey and GMOs:

http://www.confederationpaysanne.fr/mon ... u_1986.php

any honey containing the smallest grain of pollen from GMO MON 810 is now prohibited for sale and must be destroyed. The Council of State lifted the end of November the moratorium prohibiting the cultivation of this GMO. The hellish countdown has started: in January, GMOs are distributed on farms to be sown in spring. In July the bees will have to leave all the departments where the corn flowers, that is to say almost the whole of the French territory. Beekeepers will go bankrupt, wild crops and plants that need to be pollinated by bees will no longer breed.
