The question is a little big anyway ....: Mrgreen:
It depends a lot on your vehicle and the place around the engine / exhaust of what you can do, your tools, the money you can devote ..... Assume this post and after you will have more ideas clear.

I knew that my question was not very demonstrative of my need for an answer. : Mrgreen:
The project is equipped with a renault van Master T30D engine 2ltr100 diesel (identical R21 or almost) Under the hood there is plenty of room, even an empty compartment on the back of the engine for easy access to belts .
I have several ways of welding, arc, solder and TIG available I have a pretty complete tool allow to make big intervention on various engines.
This says I will resume reading this topic and take the opportunity to take a few notes, something that I had not done so far but step that is required.

Good sea and good wind.
