Hello everybody

Reading various docs gleaned on the net, I find a lot of "papers" on sunflower oil as a substitute for diesel but nothing on rapeseed oil.

Is effectiveness less? More difficult to implement? Not viable? Not studied enough?

Who would have links to rapeseed oil used as biofuel? (in French or English)

Thank you and a +

Hello
for sunflower oil 2 is found at3% loss at high speed
that is 3 a4 km / ha bottom
on the other hand I saw I do not know anymore or that tests on the colsa
we were done on tractors
the results on 100 machines on 1 year are
half does not work anymore
30% we had serious breakdowns
so 20% still works
the numbers are the
In addition, it must be known that colsa requires a lot of energy
to make oil parcontre you just need a press to have sunflower oil

Thank you for the answer, you confirmed a little what I thought and what I was told: should instead use the sunflower.

FYI, the kg of colza is paid between 0,23 € and 0,26 € (this year's price in the east of France) the yields oscillate between 25 and 40 quintals / hectare (35 on average) and, for 1 liter of oil, it takes between 1,5 kg and 1,7kg of rapeseed. I specify that these figures may vary depending on the year.

Again thank you and sorry for the reply time: unsure:

Bonjour,

It is all well and good, but no serious study, and no statistics concerning the reliability of the engines .............

It would be interesting, to have more testimonials after modification ....

Personally, not having the means to change engine, or to face major repairs, to roll with vegetable oil remains for me utopian ....

My dream would be to modify my car with a GEET PANTONE and use HBVs in fuel.

As stated by LAPI, the result on 100 equipped tractors is rather discouraging and I fear that few people take the risk of changing fuel without being certain of reliability over time ...

...........................................

All steps in the direction of getting things done must be shared .... it's a matter of good conscience ....
So all information on the modification should be known to the greatest number ....
A little in the style of the Quanthomme site with the GEET.

Good evening,
to try to answer the question of having testimonials from HVB users
, there is a site that is:
<a href='http://www.oliomobile.org/forum/ 'target =' _ blank '> http://www.oliomobile.org/forum/
on vegetable fuel.
I did not see this link on econology, but it must have been for a long time I guess: huh: and
in this case it is just a reminder ...
and of course with the pantone ... :P

From what I can read, the rapeseed is not really developed for the moment, Lapi gives us more precise elements on this subject ... By cons the results seem better for the sunflower. Unfortunately, I do not have recent figures for the latter, my region producing more rapeseed than sunflower: huh:

As for the Pantone, I test this summer with an old tiller. ;)

Hi, I'm new here, I tried to ride with 5 liters of rapeseed oil in 20 liter of GO and just for the smell it's worth it, it stinks a lot less.
In my opinion it can work well but mixed in GO, the pure oil is another story, the HVB is much more viscous, some injection pumps do not support, especially since it often needs to override the 30 injectors bar around so that the HVB burns well or overload the pump.
Finally it is only my opinion, some ride the HVB pure without problems but with a lot of changes on the engine and the fuel system but with a BOSCH injection, these are the only pumps that have the air to resist overload.

Voila, it's not a lot but stinky month, it's already not so bad, right?
