Phenomena observed but unexplained?

by Grelinette » 09/06/11, 16:02

I open this new subject out of curiosity after reading the subject on cold fusion:

Grelinette wrote:Even if I am incompetent and ignorant on the subject, I regularly read articles on Cold Fusion because a few years ago I met by chance Stanley Pons (neighborly relation in the south of France) with whom I have much discussed about his controversial "scientific discovery".

I do not have a scientific opinion on this complex question, on the other hand, on reading some comments, it appears that there are known and measured physical and chemical phenomena of which the scientific explanation is unknown.

I am therefore going to bounce back on the subject of cold fusion (while also deviating from it) by asking what are the physical and chemical phenomena that we are currently observing without being able to explain them…

In short, I often hear it said that there are phenomena that we can observe without being able to explain or reproduce them in a "scientific" way.
What are they ?

Here, are we going to talk about UFO? http://www.cnes-geipan.fr/

of biological transmutations? http://fr.wikibooks.org/wiki/Une_histoi ... iologiques

to heal with water like Sébastien Kneipp? http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebastian_Kneipp

clay that exposed a dozen old shots in front of my shin and healed 5 or 6 in 15 nights? http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terre-argile

fasting that I have practiced several times? http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Je%C3%BBne

of the structure of atomic nuclei?

acupuncture?

I'm also Rical on wikipedia.

Hi Rical, I was told about you 8) about this topic https://www.econologie.com/forums/reaction-d ... 10384.html

Ben must admit that UFOs would necessarily use energy systems that would look like superunity ...

We do not cross the galaxy with a lot of super ... : Cheesy:

Well, not even on!

Keep in mind the very fair thought (Arthur C Clarke I think) thatin low Earth orbit, we are already, energetically, at 50% of any other point in the universe ...

The question remains ... of the duration of the journey ... and / or the speed / time relativity if one travels in a straight line close to the speed of light : Cheesy:

Add :
Ball lightning
see google ball lightning

and my stepmother who saw him pass in front of his nose !!!

The mystery of quantum mechanics and the collapse of the wave function
and multiuniverses with all the possibilities of stories and physical laws !!!
With the structure of the universe, dark matter, dark energy, Higgs boson origin of mass, relativity gravitation link and quantum mechanics, etc.

Sorry, I didn't even answer the original question on the subject:

Grelinette wrote:there are phenomena that we observe without being able to explain or reproduce them in a "scientific" way.

Come on, I start with something "heavy" that concerns us all ... which is inside our heads (well I think ...) ...

What is human consciousness (or animal consciousness in some cases)?

Body trips / astral trips? The near death experiences strongly resemble these astral journeys ... pkoi?

They do not necessarily come from the other end of the galaxy ...

My theory: UFOs are simply phenomena coming from another dimension and which are reflected in luminous form in ours.
For example a nuclear explosion or of another type (3eme?) Generating many exotic particles can infiltrate in our dimension and a part of this one is converted in the form of light energy generated by the interaction of these particles with the membrane separating the two dimensions, a little like an aurora boreale but with n dimensions.
Headhoot huh?
: Mrgreen:

Another: These are simply OPNIS from a living life hidden in the oceans ...
For example, Yoko Tsuno's vineens;)
I love this comic!

Just "a bit" :)

Uh, I'm asking if we're not going to transfer this subject to "Philosophy" given the pace it takes ... : Cheesy:

Bonsoir

The mystery of quantum mechanics and the collapse of the wave function

No mystery or wave function collapse, just a school of thought (Bohr, Heisenberg and many others) which have confused physics and metaphysics and which have found in wave particle duality a new form of thought: "ne Above all, do not try to understand physical things, the wave function is a mental gymnastics, we will never know where the corpuscle is: tell your students. The corpuscle becomes wave when that tells it that's all. Move around there is nothing to see. ”This is a terrible twist of quantum mechanics which is much simpler than it was presented (and is still being presented to students).

To those who are interested, I recommend the excellent book by Landé (year 60) whose title must be "New foundation of quantum mechanics" is bright (it is the case to say it).

That said it is true that there are unexplained phenomena, dedéléo cites lightning in a ball, my grandfather saw him wandering in the bathroom following the pipes to finally disappear through the hole in the toilet. It manifested at home in my own bathroom (very large glow with deflagration, no damage, no smell disappeared probably by a ground wire running along the facade).

And what about dowsers? One of my friends who had just built saw the water dispenser's van stop in front of his house. The technician came out with a dowsing wand. The boyfriend asked him if he did not have more efficient electronic systems to detect the place where the conduit passed. He answers: yeah of course but I'm going faster with the wand. Here, the pipeline is there ...

And she was there. I admit that I have trouble understanding with my background as an electromagnetic physicist ...
