No dispute possible with what you say (sorry I wanted to speak in CHF).

Besides, you are in a much better position than anyone else here in terms of calculation.

My cars which are between ten and fifteen years old, I generally pay 500 CHF, I do some minor work and they cost me around CHF 2 per year, fuel included. (I do less than 500'10km / year) otherwise it's the bike. So as it stands, an electric HCV is not really for me.

The price I mentioned for the Tesla replacement battery, is at the time of purchase (if the purchaser wishes), so they can not escape it. But indeed, we do not know what tomorrow will be like ...

Obamot wrote:Profitability issues, let's talk about it: the battery pack and the whole vehicle is guaranteed for 8 years. The replacement of the battery pack at the end of this period costs around 10k € (Tesla).

We must not talk about the same €! :D

The option to go from 60kwh to 85kwh is 10k € ( http://www.teslamotors.com/fr_FR/models/options )
We can therefore deduce that the kwh is at least 400 €
=> The 85kwh battery is at least 34 € excluding labor!
Or the price of 2 iOns / C-zero (at the current price)!

It would be known if the Porsches and other Ferraris were cheaper to use than the Clio / 208 and co ...
Tesla is therefore no better than the other EV manufacturers. It just makes it different by targeting a wealthy, very wealthy clientele.

Yes, that is absolutely right!

But the replacement pack concluded at the time of sale was not more than 12.—

Was it an offer from the show? I don't know, in any case the info comes from there, from a reliable source and Bernardd could confirm.

In any case, I like it very well:

The Leaf is no match.

Are you interested in Bamboo? : Lol:

[posted before seeing your post, and edited after reading it]
In any case the French site does not offer the option of purchasing a battery in advance. He only mentions this:
http://www.teslamotors.com/fr_FR/models/facts a écrit :Given the rapid change in battery technology, it is impossible to accurately predict the cost of replacing a future battery

You should also explain to me why Tesla says 2 contradictory things on the same page:

http://www.teslamotors.com/fr_FR/models/facts a écrit :For example, owners of a Model S can park at the airport for extended vacation without having to connect.

http://www.teslamotors.com/fr_FR/models/facts a écrit :If you go away for a long time holiday, plug your Model S and select “Storage Mode” before leaving.

Interested in the Leaf? no. Too expensive for my wallet.
Interested in the Tesla? no. Too expensive and I don't trust the brand (see the contradictions)
:)
Interested in EVs? Yes. I bought a cheap one that works well (as long as it lasts ... but with a 5 year warranty, it will cost me cheaper anyway than the Tesla :) ).

hello bamboo

it is not contradictory. The first case indicates that the batteries will not discharge during this time.
The second is that if you have drained your battery, it can be recharged during this period.

You must be a lawyer, you : Cheesy:

You will notice though that they don't talk about the battery level at all, they don't say "you can plug in your car". They just talk about vacation and he must plug in the car.
(and I had to be a dependent instructor in an old life : Cheesy: )

let's say rather logical! I had not read the relevant passages which say:

■ The Model S battery will not lose a significant amount of charge if the vehicle is parked for an extended period. For example, owners of a Model S can park at the airport for extended holidays without having to connect.

Loading
■ Tesla recommends that you plug in your Model S every night or when possible to maintain optimal driving range and good battery condition. If you are going on vacation for a long time, plug in your Model S and select “Storage Mode” before leaving.

If you leave your Tesla without charging it for a long time, it will slowly lose its charge. If it remains at 0% charge for a certain time, you may need to replace the battery.

So charging at home, in general, because it will not recharge on its own with the times.
