MHD {Magneto-Hydro-Dynamique} and research by Jean-Pierre Petit

Transport and new transport: energy, pollution, engine innovations, concept car, hybrid vehicles, prototypes, pollution control, emission standards, tax. not individual transport modes: transport, organization, carsharing or carpooling. Transport without or with less oil.

Hello everybody

I am also very interested in MHD, and I would like to move on to a bit of practice. I am aiming for MHD in the water, perhaps easier to set up at low cost!

Your help would be valuable. Only this subject seems dormant for quite some time. Have there been any changes in your experiences since? New methods to improve the principle? (Solutions to increase the current while limiting the electrolysis, use of new types or forms of electrodes etc ...)

MHD

by Padawan » 08/02/11, 16:50

Hello !
if you want to impress your friends
http://www.youtube.com/user/gilbondfac? ... _DjbYZ2eCM
or even the simplest to realize that has been asked of me in many colleges and universities ....
But sorry if I do not answer right away because I work in a college and I also have no work and personal research ...
But a viable MHD for propulsion at sea is still too rushed in the current state of our progress. 5 see a successful project on the net "Yamato star" (spelling ??) as long as our superconductors will need to be cooled to -196 ° C and for a huge on-board mass "generator + solenoid ...." is not today that you will be able to walk in Yacht MHD .....
Good handling

Thank you Padawan for the videos.
But that does not answer the many questions I ask myself.

"Have there been any changes in your experiments since? New methods to improve the principle? (Solutions to increase the current while limiting electrolysis; use of new types or shapes of electrodes etc ...)"

During my travels through the site of jean pierre petit and his association ufo-science http://www.ufo-science.com, I came across some wonderful images of MHD manip!
I have not seen them in this subject, so I allow myself to publish them.

What do you think ?

Hello,

I had proposed this a while ago:

Hello I'm interested in the mhd I saw that it needed a transformer tht but I wonder how to make one.
except that in search on the net I found that we could use a fence for the animals off I'm an agri : Idea:
I can do it with or must I change something?

use a fence for animals

Some KV low speed and therefore very insufficient !!
Otherwise beyond the Joule per second cattle or men die !!!

You have to take either a dimmable TV cathode HT power supply (15 to 20KV) or use an ignition coil for petrol car candles with a good pulse rate (self-oscillator with thyristor or mechanical switch turning fast! !).
Various plans on the internet by typing HT power on google. or on practical electronics and other magazines or Naudin
http://lifters.online.fr/lifters/labhvps/indexfr.htm
with HT transformer of cathodic TV.
Doubtful theories but simple scheme that work and well photographed!
It is also necessary to know the necessary power (50 to 100W max with TV).

It all depends on the intended experience because they are of different types.

Those under vacuum ask for something to empty, containers, magnets, etc ...
And take safety precautions for do not die electrocuted !! by carelessness or error !!
http://www.ufo-science.com/wpf/?cat=5
With a beautiful vacuum bench more expensive than a commercial HT power supply.
All this requires knowledge of physics well assimilated!
JPP suppose that assimilated !!!
And JPP flies a little in the imagination !!!

So learn the basics before, books, wikipedia!

small there is still 4800mj
max 10 000 V
220v ~ 50hz
0.036A- 8w
and 1 unloads at the second so if you hit : Evil:
Is it too little?

4,8 joules to max 10KV every second is good for a big animal, without killing a man who pisses on the fence !!!!!
But leave a beautiful memory !!!

Otherwise for the MHD of this demo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=FR&hl=fr&v=sT39rd4P9x4
you only need an 30V power supply of a few amperes.
