The yellow (ordinary) $ 1,09 Canadian per liter today written on the panel by the way I will stop to watch the super, normally it's 10 to 15 ç more.

I will end the controversy.
Denis and Gegyx are partly right.

I did this to show that it is very easy to fool people even without looking very far.
The first cloth is fluffy with nylon fibers.
By the heat of the exhaust, because the engine was hot from the first cloth (20km on the highway before the film), the fibers burn and the cloth becomes black.
Then the trick begins from the opening of the steam valve.
I could very well have done the same test but simply by changing the cloth.
So the opening of the steam valve is very real and it really allows to send steam to the intake, but that does not change the soot that comes out of my exhaust since there is none visible in bare water, but it makes the second test more spectacular with a white cloth and Kleenex-type paper which does not burn with the heat of the exhaust.

That's it that's all. In both cases, steam or not, the first yellow cloth will have become black, and the second paper will remain white.
This does not in any way call into question the experiments carried out by André, Zac and many other experimenters.
But it proves once again that you can do spectacular when in fact there is nothing spectacular.

I hope I have not offered anyone except the cheaters of course.

regarding the smoke test: I did not do a white cloth test because honestly I do not think it stays white for a long time, alas, but I can say that when the drip system does not work the car smokes on acceleration !! I just have to look at the retro, at night, when someone follows me. On the other hand when the Pantone works the car hardly smokes any more (test of the retro of night there is not better) ESPECIALLY ON A TURBO DIESEL OF 311 000 KM !!!!!
André I am surprised that gas oil is so expensive for you A +

Everyone will understand it I hope, I made this video to show that we are not fooled.
And I don't doubt what you say.
Me too on my 150000km body I notice smoke accelerating at night while looking in the glow of the headlights of the car following me.
Besides, this is another easy thing to notice with my water boiler.
I will redo a small video more fair from a technical point of view and without cheating, with and without steam to see if there is soot at the outlet of the exhaust.

Hi Cedar.
I made 2 refills with 10cl of acetone on my professional Direct injection turbo Diesel injection vehicle from 2003.
No worries about reliability I reassure you.
I haven't finished the second full. It seems to me that there will be no savings again. I have the impression that it is more difficult on TDCI rescent engines because they already have a high efficiency.
However, I always have the impression that the engine is more lively the first few days after refueling.
But this is really only an impression. Too hard to control.

Another small video on the traces of soot in the exhaust but this time no trap.

It works (but mainly on old engines ...)

We talked a lot about it forum and André did a lot of testing. With "us" it is called: turbulator ... (it looks less classy right away) or turbulence generator:
