Hello Phil

2 reasons that make the temperature come out of the reactor is high
Not enough circulation in the reactor
either it lacks depression or too small an air gap or a long rod. (this is "one" of the reasons that the SPAD assemblies have a 1,5mm gap and a short 100mm rod
(This is my opinion you should ask them)

Or not enough water flowing in the reactor lack of bubbling
or if carburettor has bigger water cigleur ..

Personally I think you should not reduce the heat of the reactor.

it may also be that with a motor that forces a lot and that the reactor is in sub-dimension, but it is preferable that it is so, because overdimention and cold it is more problematic ..

this t ° is not particularly welcome, all the escapades that I painted to the painting hte t ° never held as one approaches towards the collector, they are given for 800 ° !!
it does not fear anything, the heat goes green back, to the muffler, on the admission it's something else.

800c for the exhaust of a diesel on the road is not bad, I never went to such figures, not even on my petrol,
very rarely on a plane, in full extended rise gas ..
For the reactor output 220c it's a lot that can happen for short moments, forcing the engine, with little water, but I do not think that it is effective for the engine performance, it is more in the 100c ..
you have adjustments around the reactor according to the use you make of your engine
it is to be believed that those who make reactors that walk, disappear from forum..

I go back into the site and I have trouble following you.
I'm going to put my B 70 truck back on the road for salad deliveries. I've put a sofim engine in place of the iveco (big-cap bolts dropped into the crankcase) and I intend to reconnect the doping by modifying it. little.
I think I read, some time ago, that an outside air intake before the reactor could increase the performance of it (electrification of the steam too dry ???).
I bought a small purge valve that I intend to solder on the elbow at the steam inlet of the reactor (even if I do not have a pre - chamber except for the elbow + 2 cm of reactor tube).

Thank you for giving me a maximum of opinion, even contrary to mine.

You do not need a prechambre if you walk with a bubbler or a GV
The antechamber is those who walk with a carburetor or water injection at the entrance of the reactor, in fact it is a kind of SGS before the rod ..
the small air inlet is necessary if you produce nothing but steam, you need a fluid to transport the small drops of water.

As I do not know my new engine, I will start to roll with the valve closed. It is just while everything is disassembled, I take the opportunity to add opportunities for changes in operation (adding this air intake + 1 steam outlet valve of the bubbler).
I think I have some adjustment margins considering my measurements on my old engine considering that they will be similar:
T ° reactor output between 170 and 220 °
Water consumption: 1.5 l (high depression for Pit)

I wonder where I should consider taking air to bring it to the entrance of the reactor (T ° and humidity ???)

With such temperatures in the reactor outlet does not try to take hot air I think it will be useless.
Just put a small moped air filter on your new air valve and it will be fine.
In fact can you tell us what makes you think that it takes an air intake just at the entrance of the reactor.

I thought that with these t ° my steam may be too dry compared to your tests with GV.
It is by looking at this diagram which I do not remember the name of the author. Maybe it does not stick with a bubbler ??

Hello Phil

On my Chevrolet to reduce the consumption of water I do like that a small air inlet at the top of the bubbler but you have to calibrate well put a valve, it is especially for a bubbler (Too) heat exhaust it produces too much steam that takes a dilution of cold air.
Too with a high level bubbler it does not aspire in the bubbler and not enough that it pulls too much steam.
it is a way to control the consumption of water, but not the reactor output temperature although for your diesel I find it high ..
Nothing tells us yet that it takes a temperature well determined at the reactor outlet for this to be effective
I have already had good performance below 100c and also in 100c audesus in general the average time it is around 100 C but it is not the main criterion of good function
If you pay attention to your measurements it starts to go up to 120 130 at the beginning and then it goes down to 90c 105c on a stable highway, it is held in the 95C ..
