Hello Phil

Now that your depression is good must control the amount of water that passes you in the reactor poses a valve on the pipe coming out of the bubbler to the reactor (not on the input of bubbler) and search the right position for the best economy (not the best driving feel or torque)
If you make small journeys with many stops, a saving 10% is in these values and even less if it is cold for urban use.
When you make a trip more consistent continuous values are the most interesting .. But you take what happens and if you use the vehicle regularly it will not be too long for you is the right to consumption of water to the best économmie . Does not like me who was adjusting me with the feeling of power,
which results in no gain and even consomation times, Good fitting tiend is just below the engine power of sensation.
For the consumption of water, starts with a 10% of the fuel consumption and plays around these values.
now it takes the patient ..
to your question on the restriction exhaust, if you made too much restriction exhaust, it is noticeable only when you drive a power pleinne there a loss of power and greater motor heating radiator not provided more and exhaust is warmer Good for the reactor)
If you did not overdo it, just the reactor duct in the exhaust, you will not have a problem. When driving 3 / 4 power you remake no differrence, just the higher exhaust temperature.

For break after a 1500km if nothing has changed, it does passerra biggest thing later ..

André thank you for that I will apply Conceil.
Somebody Can m indicate what type of valve (size) I have to get on the exit bubbler ??
please

hello Phil

Ball valve has a simple water I do not know the real name
(Robinet ball) that sells the most plumbing.
If you do not want to pose a valve disc with a hole in the middle, the output of the bubbler, you start with the following 6mm and consomation you grown up you find the right button and you are more ..
The goal is to make a restriction on the flow of moist air coming out of the bubbler (this has nothing to do with the depression that must have some value for fonctioner)

Hi Phil and André
André I believe that the "ball valve" we call this a spherical or sphere valve.
Phil your max measured depression is to 350mm but with an inner tube 8mm.
Theoretically it can be measured with an internal 10mm tube.
Because in a water column is the force exerted on the water we measure. So take round numbers or make a conversion for the measurement to be accurate.
It is in case you want to compare with us.
But just for your personal measurements and see the improvement you can make to your mount it did not matter.
In my case I'm testing with internal 12mm.
The more the diameter of the tube is large unless the column will be high.
No venturi and an internal tube 12mm I get 150 200mm to maxi diet.
So mid 350mm diet is not so bad.
The restriction exhaust will make you lose power if it is too large and will heat the cylinder head.
I do not think it fasses up the cons. The 205 GTI good time not consumed less when installed an exhaust line competition. Parcontre 3 we won in 5CV.

On my R5 reactor tube 1 / 2 thumb is 20mm ext in the exhaust pipe 50mm int just outside the collector.
This has never reduce perf. 172km / h with a R5 1,4 car is pretty good : Lol:
And since I deleted the reactor I do not see decrease in conso.

So with a sizeable restriction but not overdone it poses no worries. To be sure to 100% should measure the temperature of the cylinder head at the 3ème cylinder and make a comparison with and without restriction exhaust.

hi Pitmix

You mean exhaust gas temperature when you talk breech?
For me a yoke alpax auluminium surrounded by water should not exceed 100c, or at least close to that of the coolant. (Cooled seems that's another story)

I have not understood very well the extent of depression,
Normally I measurement on the pipe of the reactor just before entering the venturi, I think it was something I did not understand, above, I deduce that you made your measurement directly to the left the reactor, that you see a differrence between 10mm and 12mm.

Bonjour à tous
New full - 9.3% in conso gazoil : Lol:
Consumption of water: 1.5 l
This week I have felt that my truck was more nervous.
With the sharp rise in external temperature (° 40 the sun)
I have handed over the air intake of Fitr before the radiator because my engine was warming a bit more.
Friday afternoon, pollution control:
result: peak = 0.87 .The controller is surprised with the result that usual on this kind of truck (200 000 kms) often reaches 2 4 see for polluters knowing that the maximum standard is 2.5.
Besides the peak goes down much faster than a normal engine to stabilize at high 0.20 steady.
I 've not had time to mount the valve on the outlet bubbler, I just got a recommended tax to the VAT declaration of May 05 I haven' t made !!

hi phil
Ton-reactor is isolated?

Andre for depression I speak only of what gives pecking that I do in my sock. I am not speaking of the reactor.
In terms of 10 or 12mm I talk theory. Over the tube is big plus on the water exerts force is less important column is high. Now it is true that the differance between a measuring tube 8, 10 or 12 should not be very great.

For temperature measurement I only report what I was told when I asked the motor overheating issue because of restiction the exhaust and the heat insulation of the exhaust in engine output.

hi hi pit phil
when you got a pantone which fonctonne you got water temperature therefore fall breech of 10à 15 °, so not alarmed now for birds maleurs who tell you that your head will melt : Lol:
for phil:
If your pantone well when it's hot and bad when it's cold: either it is not isolated suffisement or your exhaust pipe is too big (looks Crobard I board put in the photos is all) .By cons conso your water seem a little high.

hi Zac

How long have you noticed that the temperature was lowest?
When you say this is lower lower than the set point of the thermostat, so no, or poor circulation in the radiator

Or in normal operation without panton the temperature exceeded that of the thermostat and that with the panton you stand on the value of the thermostat.
In my case it only happens when I ride a 170kmh
I value exceeds the thermostat.

In my case I notice a lowering of the temperature of the exhaust gas after the reactor, but the water of the engine in normal driving it always has tiend the same place.

While the road is here Platte and average temperature.
In mountains and hot weather it should be differrent is
the temperature must seek to exceed the thermostat.
this is the differrence you talking about?

hi andre

the mercédes (207d atmo engine 2.4) my temperature without pantone was therefore open to 85 95 Thermostat with tirelessly 80 pantone so I think thermo closed.

On the j5 (2.5l atmo) I plug the small holes of the thermo because I did not exceed 60 ° (in dimension with 30 ° outside).

View the power of mercedes I was always at the bottom (or engine braking on downhill) with j5 I board a little reserve.

the Clio (no thermometer 1.9 atmo), I no longer triggers the fan when before after 8 to 10km by rating it triggered (I'm also still at max, 65cv mountain with a car that is loaded just).
