On a 2CV

by lol.2.dol » 15/07/07, 17:17

Hello,
I am a student in Caen, and I have known the Pantone for a few years, but I have never gone beyond the stage of reading documents ...
I will be interested on the one hand to see a turn, and on the other hand to help why not to mount one even if but mechanical knowledge (welding, cutting, etc ... I know nothing about it, mounting / dismounting that will ...) are limited.

Right now I have a 2CV4 available at home, I am reassembling an engine of 6 above (my 4 is dead ...).
If my new engine works properly, I'm ready to mount a Pantone system on it during the month of August.

So, so I have a car available (well, I hope ...)

There is a lot of info about the 2cv on the pantone, on the other hand I do not know if it concerns the 4 or the 6 (I know almost nothing in 2cv): https://www.econologie.com/citroen-2cv-a ... -2121.html

Otherwise do not hesitate to use the search engine ( https://www.econologie.com/forums/search.php ) and create a specific subject for your montage to get advice and help.

Good morning all.
I did my ptite BA for my presentation on the subject which is going well
for the location of forumdie in the west of France.
I am a former mechanic (4 CAP in auto mechanics) and fitter welder it helps to make the welds.
I have 2 vehicles, RENAULT 19 turbo d and a honda civic of 84 in petrol to equip.
if the fact of raising the subject on Normandy awakens the subject a little on the region. I am ready to embark on the adventure.

I hope you have also changed the gearbox at the same time as the engine otherwise it will pull much too short ... note that in principle the fitting of a 602 instead of the 435 is prohibited (no homologation, problems in the event of an accident because "non-compliant vehicle") ... Ditto if a 652 is fitted instead of a 602, but here it is much more complicated to install because not intended for mounting on a 2cv box + integral electronic ignition with sensor on the steering wheel ...
the 2cv engine seems to me not at all suitable for a pantone assembly: it complicates everything because twin engine flat air-cooled, already not very powerful at the start, it will not work out with the pantone ...

by wanders 18 » 10/05/08, 07:58

Hello,

I'm from Petit Quevilly, and I'm just starting to organize myself to mount a pantone system on my R18 diesel 82, I am a retired electromechanic. It is easier for many to launch a project. So see you soon .

evening everyone,

I am from 27 and I have been interested in alternative motors for several years.
Unfortunately, in mechanics I am a ball!
So I did not take the step of mounting a pantone system on an old car.

If someone from the region has one to present (see how it works, the difficult points, the pitfalls to avoid, ...) or a project for which he wants help ... I am ready to help .

Sincerely,

pantone kit in the Calvados

by eric juhel » 06/11/13, 21:17

Hello,
I am looking for people experimenting with a pantone kit on their vehicle. Being an electro technician and passionate about intelligent ecology (I carried out some personal projects) I just discovered this system and I want to experiment it on two of my diesel vehicles. I am currently restoring an old stable and a Delahaye jeep. Best regards. : Shock:

On Econology, there is little feedback on Pantone kit users, on the other hand you will easily find descriptions of "personal" assemblies if that can help you.
You can maybe present your achievements ... and tell us more about your Pantone project. :P
