Hello Rezut

The diameter of 50mm is only as an indication it depends on the manufacturer there are some who are generous other less.
The goal of the exercise is to make the least possible restriction and the most possible depression.
Again it depends on how you apply your engine driving at 100kmh or 150kmh ..
Normally we should not go lower than the passage of the admissions valves it is there that the restriction is the greatest in an engine, still it depends on the number of cylinders the manifold is common, but they each suck in turn.
a good reference if there is a turbo no smaller than the final hole in front of the turbine.
If the engine is atmospheric the diameter of the hole in the cylinder head inside would be a good value.
the other more complex method is to put a double venturi
like many carburetors. Zenith, Weber, ect ...
But I don't think it is necessary to invest so much energy in depression.
Water consumption is not controlled by the vacuum in the reactor, but by the vacuum in the bubbler.
To control your water consumption, you need an auxiliary hot air inlet, close to the bubbler on the duct which goes to the reactor with a small valve, it takes very little to make the difference.
The gain in consumption depends on the amount of water that you pass through the engine. and don't think that getting a lot of water through it improves.

You have the right method to make the improvements you take note of all your old consumption and you compare with the changes if they are repetitive, do not make the same mistakes as me, I thought that when there is a feeling of power, following a a modification that I was on the right track!
feeling of power and economy it looks alike but it is not the same thing. You will learn everything by controlling your water consumption,
Doing tests at constant speed, the economy is at its best
where the feeling of power is just beginning to be felt, even slightly below.
Measure your water consumption well.
does not take into account the city and short drive test, you will not learn anything, only to determine the feeling of power.
No back smoke is not an indication of economy.

Hello
We have the same problem on the 106 (close box mounting).
Twist your "dishes" to return the box to move the rods away, you will have a more "flexible" box to handle but with a greater clearance of the lever.

hi zac

we must not have the same assembly of rods mine arrive directly on a ball joint fix as close to the fixing on the box (1 cm so impossible to cheat a mm (I had well think of twisting the rod but the round of 14mm not easy)
thanks anyway zac and @ +

hi rezut
Look at the poor mounting that I made and I get a water column of 200mm at 4500rpm and 100mm very easily in the 2500-3000rpm
Image

It is a simple piece of tube of 40mm in diameter and a pecking with a tube of 10mm of diameter cut in whistle. the original tube is 60mm in diameter on the inlet but I have not made any restriction on this tube. My venturi species is included in the 60 tube, the air passes inside the 40mm tube and around.

hello PITMIX
Can you check the pressure drop between upstream and downstream of your "species of venturi" with a transparent water pipe half filled with water for the measurement in height of water of this loss
(install another pipe at the same time to compare the vacuum as you did at the entrance of the 10 mm pipe)

by the way econology will not be happy that you have used imagedream again : Evil:

and I made a dumpling, I closed too quickly where there is browse and I headed the link (suddenly I started again, excuses econology, must be done by hand : Lol:

image shack allows you to size the image in 8 different formats and with image dream you can post large photos as a thumbnail.

The number of molecules in a drop of water is equal to the number of drop that contains the Black Sea!

Hi bolt
For now I haven't done what you told me to measure
I would have to put a windsock other than the original one.
Because a pipe before and after my pseudo venturi makes two additional holes in the air duct.
Parcontre I made a test with a simple tube inserted in the sheath on 1 or 2cm without pseudo venturi that gives only 100mm at 4500rpm.
Parcontre I planted it is 150mm at 4500rt / min with my pseudo venturi

to take depressions occasionally, I prick the rubber hose with a large needle (syringe to prick cows or pigs)
on the other hand it must be tightly sealed at the needle / transparent control pipe connection
and the tip of the needle, it is better to cut it well perpendicularly (after having drilled the hose, or pre-drilled with a point or a nail) so as not to influence the measurement (if the needle cut in whistle is facing windward or backward wind is not good)

it is also valid for "the tube that you inserted in the sheath" if it had its opening facing the "wind" it receives in addition to the true value that you are supposed to measure, a certain dynamic pressure (due to the inertia of the air that "hits" on the mouth of your little pipe)

Watch the micro video below. It is the aspiration it gives with a boost by setting the pseudo venturi, it does not suck masses but I think it will be enough to make a simple vapor doping.
