Gillier-Pantone: eCOPRA kit images by COPRA

by Christophe » 13/12/07, 11:58

As promised here are some pictures of the docs that sent me COPRA about their kit Gillier-Pantone for car and industrial engines.

This kit is sold online here (We have no commercial affinity, this is, exceptionally free advertising)

The originality comes from the fact that it is an "external" steam generator ... I hope that the calories are sufficient ...

So here is 2 photo of the generator design and 2 photos taken from the assembly instructions.

Edit at 24 June 2008: see a report on the TF1 newscast

pantone system

by sami56 » 13/12/07, 15:02

Hello I just saw your subject on the pantone engine with the eCOPRA kit. With our class of BTS mechanical heavyweights, we want to put a pantone system on a xantia 2.0l td engine that is at my school. With your collaboration and that of my trainer, we ask you if you can not send us more documents than what is posted on the page of the forum. Where to put me in relation with the COPRA thank you for your understanding. If you could answer me as soon as possible

Hello

I had already seen photos of the kit
the only point that seems unclear to me is the reactor part
To make a round trip with two exit comune it is necessary a hollow stem or a concentric mount outside which does not give a good performance, the stem hollow I experimented and posted images on the forum Does not give as good a performance as a standard mounting, the mounting of the cornerstone U and appropriate (though the leg of the U entered reacteurje aurrai the channels in the exit part of the reactor, in order to take the heat maximumde for the reactor.

This assembly is more focused on the simplicity of installation, so more salable, the person little tooled quick mounting. I would be surprised if yields reach 30%

It's probably a good idea, but I'm afraid that depending on the vehicle, the mounting on the exhaust and the admission are not always POSSIBLE for problems of PLACE, unless the COPRA makes a different kit according to the model of car.

I brought in a lot of covers and mount-dismount many parts including exhaust to say that each one is different from another particular engine exhaust exits: there are often bends behind the exhaust manifold and little place around.
To find a straight part you have to go under the car and get away from the heat source and you need some space around it.

I may be pessimistic, but I have seen so many different montages that the standard kit leaves me a little skeptical.

I saw your answer but I would like to have more information please: the size of all the pieces if you know them and if you can contact COPRA

to answer your questions about the kit ecopra is a doping 100% water no fuel
we use the hypnow reactor + an external generator
the total length does not depict 170mm and the generator has an axial configuration only of 120mm it is necessary to choose a suitable vertical or horizontal location the generator adapts
the whole can be solidary 2 necklaces or not 4 necklaces
if equipped with a bridge no dismantling of pot
already realized without dismantling ...
taille des pots 40/45/50-53/55/60/65/70/75/80

Hi :
Do they have a confidence test of consumption and performance?
does a web page exist with Copra kit mounting photographs?
Thank you
