Good morning all
I did new consumption tests with surprising results to say the least !!
So 3 tests in the same conditions, 50 km traveled to the minute, except that for the first test the road was drenched by the storms of the night
First test without water, I left the entrance to the gvi in the open air
4,76L / 100 GB versus 6,57L / 100 without pantone
2nd test 0,4L / h of water
4,86L / 100 GB
3nd test 0,9L / h of water
5,04L / 100 GB
Surprising isn't it?
I thought I would consume a lot more go on the first try than without mounting, I thought that the restriction of the exhaust would have caused an increase in consumption, it is nothing, it is my lowest go consumption, added to that is the inertia of which alex56 speaks, that is to say that the engine would put in the 2000km before consuming as originally without pantone
As the road was soggy during this test, I suppose that the air which entered the gvi was highly humid, so I would have consumed very little water.
So I will continue my tests with very little water although the reactor outlet is in the 90 ° rather than in the 100 ° with a water consumption of about 1L / h
Add to that the measurement error of t ° c because the probe touches the copper, I noticed a loss of about 5 ° when the probe touches the copper instead of measuring the air or the ambient gas.
After these tests I will tend to believe that my system is optimal with about 0,2L / h of water and little air, for these tests I had a 2,5mm air inlet nozzle instead 4mm, andré or g_p fans what do you think?
