Technology from the day before yesterday may be, but if we manage to get it to perform in current pollution control with a few pieces of pipe, it will be a nice snub to the billions engulfed in engine R&D each year ...

Hello

If my memory is good engine had a pipe cast iron exhaust and exhaust tube tube outlet like all other cars
if you want to keep intact original you just remove the piece of exhaust pipe that comes out of the collector there are just two elbows
and you actually bend one in an exhaust garage is an easy bagatel to make and in this new tube you house a reactor
and you can also prepare to make a GV or other
there is room around this engine
to get into the engine under the carburettor there is a common hot spot with the exhaust for the warm tenire and if I remember a small hole with a plug ideal for entering the exit panton a hole of 6 mm, the restriction of 3mm you will put it in the entrance of the reactor .. I walk like that with a 3,1 engine liters ..

My first engine that I dismounted, there are many parts of DS19 crankshaft shell, starter that fetches on this car
Piston (80mm of memory) race 100mm motor has torque but not support the high speed 3800rpm maximum if you want to keep it a long time, change the oil often there is no oil filter on these engines ..
Gimbal front rather fragile, the box too, you need a special key to dismount and the gearbox on the engine
avoids putting power on starting the wheels too cramped, the 1 a big 5a parchoc, the last had hydraulic suspention balls in arrier like the DS

This should not be complicated just to know the option bubbler, GV, carburetor? and what kind of conduct you do with this vehycle. long trip to go to the antique auto rally, or short trip for weddings?

the modification must be discreet and completely removable

Thank you for all your nice responses.
It's a pull that I just bought so not even had the time to really try it.
I intend to use it regularly. (Rome next summer)
I do not want to distort the car but do it discreetly.
Despite having traveled the forumI'm getting lost in the different methods.
That's one of the things I posted here. I wanted to hear your opinion and why help

Dozens of people are in your case, here is pkoi we are in the process of making part of the "synthesis" site, I already told you here:

Wait a few weeks before you start, we are preparing a new part of the synthesis site on the Pantone and specially for people in your case.

So here you go if you can wait a few weeks, otherwise you can still dig a little on the forumbut you have to know that every transformation is a prototype. I strongly advise you the solution of the steam generator rather than that of the bubbler.

Here are the topics that speak to it: steam generator

Hi AC
Do as you say, with a new modified pot, that's how I did on my R5. It helps not to be too afraid to launch. It's psychological.
In fact over time I ended up modifying the original pot that I had kept in duplicate and I also did on 3 pipes.
In the end I have 4 exhaust tubes, including 1 with reactor, 1 with GV and reactor, 1 with a GV without reactor and an original.
Make yourself a tube with a GV internal or external exhaust and a reactor, so you'll have a compact and efficient discrete system.
At the moment on my R5 it is enough that I dismount the float at constant level, that I reinstall the original exhaust tube and that I remove the additional bottle of ice (reserve of water) to make my car totally original.
Otherwise I know someone who installed a LPG kit on a Renault Rodeo (500 €). It is also an interresting solution in my opinion for old cars. By cons it's not really in the mind collector.
Another point, I have a colleague amateur old cars who was installed, by a friend of his, an electronic ignition whose advance is infinitely adjustable. On his Aronde he gets better performance and a significant reduction in conso.

Good evening, the LPG is not too good for some valve seats, but a little water will not hurt too much, of course in quantities mastered. I am a collector, a 15 is nice and well rated! but if the transformer is well made and reversible, there is no problem, especially that the injection of water existed well before traction!

qlq something that has nothing to do: I changed Internet provider and therefore mail: how to modify the parameter? thank you

White would not exist without the dark, but anyway!
