Wow! great Christophe!

Who will cover the journey?

Monsieur François wrote:Bonjour à tous

We are a small group of students who wish to embark on the construction of several pantone engines for the 4 2011l trophy.

Having done a lot of research on the subject we no longer know where to turn.

If someone lives in the island of France and wishes to give us some advice we would be delighted

Thank you in advance

François

Well i want to give a little bit of my time on the subject :D
I am in Essonne

We should have some news on the forum at their return...

Otherwise you can look on their blog: http://lesbeqels.blogspot.com/

FR2 talked about it for the 2009 edition, here is an extract: https://www.econologie.com/forums/4l-trophy- ... t7311.html

Otherwise see the official website: http://www.4ltrophy.com/en-direct-du-ra ... -2010.html

Hello everybody

I am Jérôme from the 918 crew who own the beautiful 4L that we can see at the start of the post. I opened a new post to speak, exchange about our adventure (approaches, perspective, installations, feedback on experience ...)

Nice videos, I dreamed 10 minutes behind the wheel of my 4L ..... When the garage is finished I will tackle its transformation well ...
It is from 1992, 100.000 terminals and 4rm.
Hi thread.

former oceanic wrote:The 4L F6 models were the only ones that I could not sow or catch up with my 2CV6 from 4CV tax (special series from 1972 to Germany, Ami6 engine on 2CV chassis ... 35CV under the hood).

The 4L F6 used the same engine as the R4 GTL which was faster because the body was less bulky ... the R4 GTL key engine was then used on the R5 ...
The Ami 6 had a 35hp SAE engine or 29hp DIN, almost the same as there was in the 2hp6 (there are some minor differences, in particular the more modern carburetor of the 2hp) ...
In Germany, there have been a number of 2hp re-fitted (not officially) with Visa / LNA 652cc engines of 34hp DIN, but using innovative techniques for the time (aluminum / nicasil cylinders, full electronic ignition), Citroën factory having officially authorized the assembly. If the engine was close to the 602cc of the 2cv, It was however necessary an engine / gearbox adapter because these 2 vehicles used a GS gearbox. Most of the remotorized 2cv also underwent a slight rescheduling of the transmission (by mixing 2cv and ami gearbox components 8) because the maximum power speed of the 652cc is lower and its torque higher. The advantage of this assembly was: significant reduction in engine noise, reduction in fuel consumption by 20%, significant improvement in pick-ups and acceleration, significant reduction pollution (more modern fuel), the maximum speed progressing only marginally (+ 5km / h) due to the poor Cx of the 2hp and the transmission always a bit short.
This assembly is prohibited in France since the general ban on kit cars ... (there are several English, German and Dutch kits on a 2cv basis, none officially approved in France ...

If not, for water doping of 4L, what is the balance sheet? If we hardly talk about it, it's because the usefulness of doping is most limited on petrol engines, I imagine ...
